There are some stories where the story lets you decide what happens in the end,and then there some stories that can't be argued to be open to interpretation.Which do you prefer?Do you think that as long as it's a satisfying ending you would either way?More specifically,do you think that the setting, genre and main plot should govern what type of ending it needs to be?

Personally,I believe that since both have their charms in different ways,it's more important that the ending itself is done in a proper manner, where the viewer is either left in awe, emotional, satisfied, wishing to know more whilst being generally satisfied or all of the above.

I donno I like both, but I guess I prefer knowing how it ends and having closure because then I don't have to worry about it after its over.

Linear, sometimes multiple endings are just too much.

As long as the Story makes You Smile, or satisfied in the End, then it was worth it.

I prefer a linear ending. I never really was the kind of person who can interpret an ending.I much rather a straight forward conclusion.

Ambiguous = Mindfucking . I don't like that. Maybe that sound smart to someone, but truth is it's not!

Doesn't matter as long as it's done right
