Spend the day with friends and family, went to the parade, grilling some burgers currently, and will be watching some fireworks later
Thanks to all those who have served our wonderful nation! God Bless America!!

I never really cared about it. And I don't like to celebrate it considering the majority of Americans don't even know the actual reason why America parted from Britain. Americans bash the British but it was actually us that were the assholes during that time.

Please enlighten me as to how we were the assholes? Unless you're referring to the colonists' treatment of loyalists? You should read "Common Sense" by Thomas Paine, then maybe will be better educated and have better common sense yourself!

Lol. That's great. I just ate some McDonald's hamburgers. How patriotic is that?

Lots of hate for the English here -which I can understand- but I don't know if it's because people are forgetting the 3 other countries that the USA achieved independence from. Just because we may achieve independence from England too doesn't stop the fact that we were still one of the countries you got independence from. Then again it may just be that the USA feels the same as us in the fact that we only really dislike England and not the rest of the UK.

Other than that I really don't care about the 4th of July because it's just any other day in my country.

Dude. It is not hate. All of the stuff you see written about England are all jokes. JOKES.

Don't take it seriously now.

4th of July

ULTIMATE BREAKUP BETWEEN AMERICA AND ENGLAND.

There's even a formal declaration to go along with it. Talk about well penned divorce.

England tried to win America's heart again in 1812, but sadly it did not work and America made sure England understood their breakup was permanent.

England cried but then drowned the sorrows away the British way - in tea and some really creative language. Then England went back to romancing the other parts of the British Empire, especially India. Too bad that didn't work out either.

Nowadays, England and America are ultimate drinking buddies.

ALL ENDS WELL.
