How do I cancel my Anime Member Subscription? I only wanted to try out the free trial just so I could watch Hunter x Hunter on my iOS device.

You see up there where there is the person's head outline next to a drop down menu arrow? Next to the search box? If you are logged in, you can drop down that menu, pick "settings" and the cancel account is right in the first settings page.

I didn't see it. Am I supposed to let my free trial run out, then cancel it? Also, I live in Northeast Ohio too.

Yea, once you know what that is, its easy to find, but its not always obvious to new users.

If you're not going to keep the membership, be sure to cancel it before it runs out, since its a program that sends out the charge if you are still a member when the 14 days runs out, so you can't assume they'll wait until the business day starts to send the charge.

Ok. I was trying to find the cancel button, and it didn't show, so I'll definitely keep checking.

Oh nice. I'm from one of many suburbs of Cuyahoga County. And I have friends who attends or went to Kent State.

Click on the button that opens a drop down menu and then click settings.

It should look like this.

Also, follow the forum rules... You could've asked the support team to handle this for you!

8.2 Do not create personal or help threads.
When making a topic refrain from making personal threads or "I need help" threads. Personal and help threads will automatically get locked, whether you receive your answer or not.
Here's a list of threads you can post in instead of creating help threads:

I didn't know where the Support Staff was located. And I didn't see a Cancel Membership option. It's probably because I'm on a free trial.

Look at the bottom of any page, and under "Support", you'll find a "Contact Us" link.

Even on a free trial, you should have a "Cancel Membership" button.

There have been some issues in the past with some people trying to cancel it right away, while the payment method is still being authorized, so they may have disabled it for a short period of time after you sign up.

If it doesn't appear before the weekend is over, try contacting the staff. Keep in mind that as soon as your membership is cancelled, the premium benefits end.

If you just want temporary access for a single show, you might want to check The Official Guest Pass Thread to see about picking one up.

Keep in mind use of those is limited to 10 per 6 month period.

When I click on the drop down menu and click on "Settings", I see "Membership Status" in the main part of the page, and below the account information, I have a button to "cancel membership renewal". If I wanted to keep my card from getting charged, that's the one I'd click.

But I have a longer term account, while the free trial rolls over into monthly, so I'm just guessing that the monthly account info looks the same.
