I never watch the original series. I was just too young and don't know the deal with Crystal. Is it a complete reboot or a 25 episode thing? I just don't know. All I want is to give one of history beloved anime some justices.

I would say ya since it's a remake of a classic and yes, it will be 25 episodes.

But I wouldn't make a whole thread out of this. I would have asked this question in the official thread here:

What I liked about the old Sailormoon was that their legs and thighs were sexy and hot.

The new ones look anorexic.

Here is what someone posted on Tumblr. It is everything about Sailor Moon. Everything.

Here’s to the series that touched so many people regardless of gender, age, color, race, sexuality, location.

Here’s to the series governed by women, written for girls, and loved by all.

Here’s to the series that has broken barriers, rewritten concepts, thrown out traditional gender roles and empowered.

Here’s to the series that has woven a timeless story, entwined loyalty, friendship and love.

Here’s to the series that has reached out and touched something in us all, and continues to do so time and time again.

Here’s to the series that created something so magical, so cosmic, so imaginative and so brilliant.

Here’s to the series we’ve laughed over, cried with; wondered about , journeyed alongside.

Here’s to the series that has stood the test of time in every possible way, and is truly a classic series in every way, shape and form.

Here’s to going on this great journey again with the girl who started off so afraid and unwanting of her duty, only to accept her destiny and become a legend.

Here’s to you, Sailor Moon.

Long may you reign.

I've watched all 200 episodes of the original anime, the 3 movies, read all the manga.

This new anime of Sailor Moon will be following the manga this time around. Unlike the original anime which only followed the manga loosely, this new incarnation of the series will be following the manga very closely. The manga is much darker, more mature, sensual, sexual, violent, fast paced and less forgiving.

It starts off slow but don't be put off - it picks up soon, and the sheer storyline and characters are what makes this series so beloved. Especially Usagi, the main character. She gets excellent character development and becomes extremely powerful and absolutely legendary. But she always retains her loving, affectionate personality.

I guess that the first 26 episodes will be covering the first arc of Sailor Moon - The Dark Kingdom.

There is a reason this series has triumphed over time. Give it a try, and stay while it gets its footing. It is a memorable and wonderful ride.
