I'm assuming you already ate one of those 3 dishes or all. Is it good?

We have tons of unusual foods! :D

Are you being sarcastic?

Many countries have different food tastes and preferences than the USA. Heck, different parts of the USA have different food preferences. I think a lot of it is that we are conditioned to turn away from foods like ants and maggots while other countries turn towards them.

Totally agree with you, but when we talk about low resources on our planet or world hunger, this is really not a choice, this could save lives or the planet in the future, we never know if we do not try.

I've never had these bugs because they are hard to find in the United States. I wasn't being sarcastic. There are exotic dishes all around Mexico. I eat very little meat but fried cow intestines are delicious! In my hometown people eat armadillos, iguanas, opossums, and other exotic animals.

I don't even want to touch a bug let alone put it down my throat. Vegetables and fruits are sufficient if you just don't want to cannibalize.

Hate to burst your bubble, but not if you want to survive. Even vegetarians eat stuff other than vegetables and fruits to maintain a healthy diet. You have to get your protein, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals which are not all available from just vegetables and fruits.

Sorry to reburst your own bubble, but protein doesn't just come from animal meat. Such as avocados, oh and thanks for reminding me, fish isn't all that bad and its a good source of protein. (:

My mistake, i was saying that to madamenoir, sorry. It's a shame seeing other countries so used to it and the most developed countries treating it kinda "taboo".

No problem. Shellfish are basically insects, I hear tarantula legs cook like crab legs, we unknowingly eat them in food products and while we sleep, and I've willingly eaten insects and arachnids before (cooked and live).

You didn't bust my bubble. I'm not talking about just protein when talking about essential dietary requirements. There are grains for example which are needed to offset the lack of certain amino acids when living a vegetarian diet. Not all essential amino acids are found in fruits and vegetables, so there are some other foods needed as well.

Also, fish is an animal meat, as is milk and cheese and eggs. They all contain the required chemical and biological components to be classified as animal protein.

No. I will pass on eating insects willingly. If resources are low enough I will just start hunting long pig.

I don't get it why can't we just eat at home or in restaurant like normal people, and have to go to sects for this?

I'd try to avoid getting into sects in the first place. I'd just feel insecture there. If I ended up in one, I'd try to escape in a sectond. Or to call in sickt.

Otherwise I'd rather eat in sect, than starve in sect. Especially in that, called /inseCt sect name here/.

Except that I would never dissect an insect, insectuently 'd not be able to test what they fed to me on an insect.

To conclude, I'd just eat out, if in sucked.
