Everytime you rewatch its like you understand a bit more. Now thats an anime. Gundam seed was ok but Groanworthy joke alert the other 1000 gundam storylines made me want to say, Gun-dammit. This is what makes a truely classic and an anime that deserves to be remembered. you technically wouldn't be able to call eva a mecha series because all the eva units were living, not robots. Technically yeah but it's still a mecha series, although it is more than just a mecha series. 1. Eva 2. Escaflowne 3. Full Metal Panic 4. Code Geass 5. Diebuster 2 Eva Dix-Neuf those things were Living creatures, and you manage to fit living into robot how? It's still mecha genre right? Large living robotic creatures having incredible fights and blowing each other up. Oh, and of course they have to have pilots too. mecha = giant robo, living is not in the description
