Best Mecha Anime Series?

What, Gundam SEED? hahahahaha...

Gundam SEED is a shame to all oldschool gundam fans outhere, this series is just a poor excuse for mass production of yaoi fanfictions/doujinshis for mentally ill fangirls. Well it seems that Sunrise learned for its mistakes and went back to the roots with Gundam 00, and yes this is a TRUE Gundam series that match with the previous (actually good) hit Gundam Wing.

About the thread, Gundam as whole is the best series (except for the seed garbage) but the ONE series is obviously Neon Genesis Evangelion, Hideaki's masterpiece, the series and movies are just... whoa... (in the AWESOMENESS way).

In my opinion it was one of the few Gundam series with a actually good ending. For me it would be Macross. One of the few robots series that the Robots isn't godly and the story is really good. Gundam is on the second place, some of the series that use the name just make you want to puke but some of them is really great too.

The Bandai visual Gunbuster box is in the living room above the DVD player, but I haven't watched it yet. I think I'll watch it during lunch tomorow.
