Robotach/macross !!
their dogfights they are doing are awsome !!.... especially the newer series
unlike the gundam... macross fighters (valkryies) are not virtually insistractable or have cool weaponry or equipment..
as a matter of fact, they are like "one hit BOOM!! " normal fighters and have the same weaponry as the others.. even less tpp
they relay on their SKILL even against stagering odds !! thats why i love macross... cant get enough of the action!!
the gundams !!
they have uber cool weaponry and equipment....
virtually indistractable (but not invinsible) armor and uber powerfull weaponry
gundams hit me as one of the best performing mechas !!

Hmm hmm... Recent developments have made it so that Gundam 00 is best in my opinion. Code Geass really so far doesn't have much on it, in my view. Don't ask why.

Samurai 7 is a pretty interesting Mecha series. The Mechas used to be people in the anime so they talk and stuff lol. Though I would have to say Gundam Wing and Escaflowne are my favorites
