Meh, I got pulled over today because I have limo tint on all the windows on the Scion =(

It sucks because I've had those windows tinted like that for a year and no cops have ever cared. But oh no! The state trooper in his F150 has to pull out that damn laser thing and test my windows. Ugh, now I have to wait and see how much I have to pay in fines =(

Have any of you ever been pulled over?

Many times, mainly for going too fast, once for my subs (I had 2 12's and a 15 thumpin in the back of my hatchback)

Worst ticket was a reckless endangerment for goin triple digits. 4 points on my record, and the state trooper said it took him a couple of minutes of haulin ass to even catch up to me :/

^What were you driving?
Posted Jan 31 2008
Yep. California Highway Patrols are everywhere. I even saw one on a hill with a radar gun. Anyways, your fine will probably depend on your speed. I was going 94MPH on a 65.. It was I think, $400? Don't remember. In CA, I think it's $12-$15 per MPH over.

Both the noise violation and the reckless endangerment tickets were from the same vehicle - A lightly modded 03 Vibe

The Vibe made for a nice lil daily driver, but no real power (base and AWD model use the 1ZZ-FE engine, the GT model uses the 2ZZ-GE engine. Both engines are from the Toyota Celica)

Sucks I guess, I've never been pulled over in my lancer even for the loud exhaust. I guess the turbo noise does annoy me though at times (i guess thats the noise, I'll ask my ex).

last time i got pulled over was for a loud exhaust. I thought a resonator and a turbo would be enough to quiet a greddy evo II down... The only time before I got pulled over it cost me a 8 month suspension, driving school, and a 5500 insurance premium im still paying for. Good news is though, in another 2 months, the reckless and evading will be dropped and itll go down to 1400 Image

Well, I live in a state where they just started having civil fines that go with tickets. 2000 civil fine that the judge cant overrule for a 200 dollar speeding ticket. Theyre money hungry...

I've been pulled over for my tints too, you get a fix it ticket for $10.00 for first offence at least. Otherwise its some hundred bucks to plead guilty for whatever whatever whatever crap.
I was so targeted too lol... The cop car drove by my house and I was turning into my driveway. The cop stops at the end of the block to wait for me and it took me some 10 minutes before I left again because I didn't think the cop noticed. Boy was I wrong... I was following all traffic regulations and everything and then the cop gave me the lights and music show on the expressway. I already had my front two windows down since the moment I left my house again and I followed all traffic regulations... So what can he pull me over for if he didn't get it right the first time... He pulled me over to ask me to roll my windows up - -;; I should of played the law game with him but I probably would've gotten worse off if I did... hahah
My second time was cuz some poor folk stole my 07 sticker off my license plate... Though it was my fault for not cleaning it up and slicing and dicing that sticker in the first place haha

BTW, what's an FOP badge?

Hmmmmm... A police pulled me over for doing 134 in a 45 mile zone. Thank god, my friend is the state attorney, so that went out the window. Image

Its a Fraternal Order of Police Badge. My buddies a cop and ordered one for me. Its like something about your a friend of cops/a cop and you support them. Almost all cops let you go scot-free but its not like a guarantee. Cops can give other cops tickets too..
