Hey everyone! Tiffako here with a SUPER UPDATE on all of the new summer simulcasts!!



Akame ga Kill! is set to broadcast every Sunday starting on July 6th, at 9:00am Pacific Time for its premium members, with free members able to watch one week later. More information can be found on www.crunchyroll.com/akame-ga-kill.

Akame ga Kill! will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Netherlands, Scandinavia, Latin America and Turkey.



Under the rule of a tyrannical empire, Tatsumi, a young swordsman, leaves his home to save his poverty stricken village. He meets a girl named Akame, an assassin who was bought, brainwashed and trained to kill by the Empire. Akame is a member of the secret assassin group called “Night Raid” who use special weapons called Teigu. Together, Tatsumi and the members of Night Raid confront the corrupt empire.

Based on the ten-volume, ongoing manga Akame ga Kill! by Takahiro and Tetsuya Tashiro, Akame ga Kill! will be directed by Tomoki Kobayashi (Galaxy Angel Z, Steins;Gate). Taku Iwasaki ( Black Butler, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) is composing the music. Soma Saito (Haikyu!!) will be voicing Tatsumi, joined by Sora Amamiya (One Week Friends and Tokyo Ghoul) as the Akame.

Based on the popular Persona video game series, Persona4 the Golden ANIMATION brings back voice actor Daisuke Namikawa as main character Yu Narukami, where he is joined by Ami Koshimizu as Yukiko Amagi, Showtaro Morikubo as Yosuke Hanamura, Yui Horie as Chie Satonaka, and Kana Hanazawa, who voices a new character Marie.

Based on the original manga by Sou Hamayumiba, HaNaYaMaTa is the story of a group of junior high school girls finding themselves and their dreams through their Yosakoi dance club.

Naru is a junior high school girl who is average in every way. She loves fairy tale heroines, though she’s never had the courage to escape her ordinary life. One day, she sees Hana, a transfer student, dancing in the moonlit and becomes inspired to learn Yosakoi dancing.

From the animation studio company that brought us titles such as No Game, No Life, and Cardcaptor Sakura, Mad House Studios will be in charge of the HaNaYaMaTaproject. Voice actress Reina Ueda plays the main character Naru Sekiya. Manami Numakura, who will be voicing Aoi Sakurai in the upcoming anime Rail Wars!, is playing Machi. They are joined by Kaya Okuno, Minami Tanaka and Yuka Otsubo from Wake Up, Girls! playing Yaya, Hana, and Tami respectively.

Crunchyroll is adding another series to its lineup of JDrama simulcasts with the announcement of GTO 2014. The live-action drama kicks off with its first episode on July 8 at 9:00pm Pacific Time for All-Access premium members, and free members will be able to watch one week later. Future episodes will be broadcast every Tuesday at 9:00am Pacific Time.

GTO 2014 will be available in the following territories: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Netherlands, Central and South America including the Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Denmark, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, France and DOM/TOM, and Andorra.



A high-school comedy drama with an ex-delinquent-turned-highschool-teacher. His unique way of being with students causes changes in the minds of students. Onizuka is sent as a temporary teacher to the high school he graduated from in Shonan, Japan. At the high school, he faces difficult problems including a teenage pregnancy and a student refusing to attend school. Onizuka's past is also revealed through people who knew him from his past.

AKIRA, from the Japanese dance and music group EXILE, reprises his role as the titular Onizuka, while Yu Shirota is cast as Ryuji Danma, Yusuke Yamamoto plays Toshiyuki Saejima, Ryosei Tayama stars as Hiroshi Uchiyamada, and Hitomi Kuroki is Ryoko Sakurai.

The popular boys-love visual novel from Nitro+CHiRAL, DRAMAtical Murder gets an anime adaptation! The story revolves around a young man named Aoba who works in a junk shop. Recently, an online cyber game called “Rhyme” becomes popular on the island he lives on. Though Aoba has no interest in Rhyme, he is somehow pulled into it. Without knowing it, his peaceful days have come to an end!

Studio Naz, known for their work in Hamatora, is in charge of the animation production of DRAMAtical Murder . DIVE II Entertainment, also involved in the Hamatora series, will be heading the music production of this anime. Voice actor Atsushi Kisaichi (Timka from the Angelique series) will be playing Aoba; joined by Hiroki Takahashi (Eiji Kikumaru from The Prince of Tennis) who will be voicing Koujaku. Satoshi Hino (Sai from Naruto Shippuden) also joins the cast as Noiz.

The titular character Nozaki will be voiced by Yuichi Nakamura, who’s also known for his role as Gray Fullbuster in the popular Fairy Tail series, and Sakura will be voiced by relative newcomer Ari Ozawa, who previously had minor roles in Is the Order a Rabbit? and NO-RIN.

Based on the original manga by Sakisaka Io, Blue Spring Ride is a story about love, friendship, companionship and family, cherishing all the unforgettable times of youth.

At the end of her first year of high school, the main heroine, Futaba suddenly has a chance encounter with her first love, Tanaka Kou. Three years ago, he transferred schools before she was able to say how she felt about him.

After meeting each other again, Futaba realizes that he has gone through many changes. He acts more cool and even had his last name changed to Mabuchi. Gradually the two rekindle their love while piecing together what had happened in the time that they were apart.

Voice actress Maaya Uchida (Hiyori from Noragami, Rikka from Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!) will be playing as Futaba Yoshioka. She is joined by Yuuki Kaji (Eren from Attack on Titan) as Kō Mabuchi.

Momo Kyun Sword is a retelling of the Japanese folktale of Momotaro, only this time, instead of a boy named Momotaro, Momoko is a girl who was born inside of a peach! She lives with her companions, the dog god Inugami, the monkey god Sarugami, and the pheasant god Kijigami. However, when a demon army lead by the devil king invades her parade and steals the treasures that protect her land, she embarks of a grand adventure to retrieve the treasures and save the people.

Voice actress Ayana Taketatsu, also known for her role as Azusa Nakano in K-ON!, will voice the main character Momoko, with Asami Imai, who also voiced Kurisu Makise in Steins;Gate, plays Kijigami, Shotaro Morikubo, Shikamaru Nara in the Naruto series, joins them as Sarugami, and Wataru Hatano, Murasaki in Hamatora, voices Inugami.

Crunchyroll will add Sabagebu! - Survival Game Club! – as part of its summer simulcasts, and is set to broadcast every week starting on July 6, at 8:00am Pacific Time for its premium members, with free members able to watch one week later. Sabagebu! - Survival Game Club! –will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: North America, Central and South America including the Caribbean, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Europe excluding French speaking territories, the Middle East and North Africa



The next title from Pierrot, the studio who produced Naruto and Bleach, Sabagebu! - Survival Game Club! –follows the story of Momoka Sonokawa, a student who transfers to a new High School only to be dragged into the “survival game club”.

The series will be directed by Masahiko Ohta whose previous works include Yuruyuri- Happy Go Lily, with story composition by Takashi Aoshima and characters designs by Masashi Kudo. Momoka Sonokawa will be voiced by Ayaka Ohashi who has previously voiced Uzume Uno from Fantasista Doll, Rei from Hamatora and Ran Shibuki from Aikatsu! The rest of the cast includes; Lynn as Maya Kyodo, Nao Toyama as Kayo Gotokuji, Rumi Ookubo as Urara Kasugano and Yumi Uchiyama as Mio Ootori

Just to let you know, they get all of Aniplex of America's titles, so if they license it, then CR will be streaming it!
