I'd personally like The Breaker.

Possibly one of the only manhwas I've read so far that didn't drop in quality after its first season.

Just have to wait for the (hopefully) eventual 3rd season.

Still waiting on that Ability second season but I imagine the author might come back to it once he stops focusing on Noblesse (and recovers)

I would love an animated adaptation of Kubera: One Last God. This manwha shares numerous aspects that I relished in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. It is high fantasy with defined magic systems, varied cast with differing motivations/planes of existence, underlying mystery and expansive mythology. On the last point, Kubera heavily incorporates elements from Hindu mythology. The most striking difference are the two main characters. In contrast to the brotherly bond of Ed and Al, Kubera's heroines Leez and Asha have a very twisted (even parasitic) relationship.

Of course, I would want Studio Bones to helm the project.

.... do you have to be from Korea to get published on webtoons? I was thinking of submitting something there, but I'm not from Korea...

I've seen other sites that are the same idea though.

I've read a few that seemed okay, but most were romance... I'm not too into romance. There was one with a merman that they were promoting a lot, and that was pretty good, though.

You don't have to be from Korea to become published there. There are plenty of non-Korean authors currently featured on the site. You can read about the publishing process here.

As for the original topic, I think Magical 12th Graders would be a good pick.

Would love to see those popular webtoons animated. Don't forget the God of High School. Defnintely wanna see My Shiny World & Untouchable into an anime or TV Drama. & then there's some Chinese Manhuas that I want to see get animated too.

Actually, rather than anime adaptations of manhwa I think I'd like to see Korean animation grow more. It's a shame so much of their animation industry is about doing work for other studios. I listened to a podcast where the creators of ATLA talked about how after visiting Korea they decided to give Korean animators a little more control over their creative process rather than just having them fill in the blanks between keyframes that couldn't be changed, and how they got really good results that way too - it was the origin of Foamy Mouth Guy. And given Korean Studio Mir's excellent work on Korra, I think they're more than up to the task of adapting a manhwa or webtoon.

I know this is an old post, but you do bring up a good point. Korean animation is really up there in quality. There would give Japan run of their money.

I don't get why they keep doing these fail partnerships with China instead...I think the only decent anime that came out of it was Reikenzan and not many saw it since crap like Trickster, Bloodivores, Blade and soul and much more forgettable shows keep getting licensed.. I guess it's a money issue why they can't animate pearls like Tower of God or Breaker to name a couple.
