A stream was announced for Daisuki, but according to the comments there the episode is airing with a week of delay in Daisuki, what a disappointment.

I suppose that makes a certain amount of sense for the US and Canada, as Funimation doesn't make it available for free viewing during the first week. They probably wouldn't want Daisuki hoovering up all their free viewers.

I would hope the same delay doesn't apply to all other countries Daisuki makes it available to, however.

I'm saddened that I can't watch a simulcast anywhere since Funimation doesn't consider Puerto Rico part of the US, even though it is.

I was reading through the series comments on their site and found Daisuki had pasted in the same text as a comment 10 hours earlier.

Have you tried contacting their customer service department? (Video/Other Video would likely be the best item to select for "Reason for contact"). Their license would cover Puerto Rico, so it could just be a problem with the IP geolocation database they use. CR sometimes has similar problems.

I did contact them, but they never replied so I ended up cancelling my free trial last week in order to move to CR.

A very unique "ex-US" license:
http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2014/07/10-1/crunchyroll-to-stream-black-butler-book-of-circus-anime

Black Butler: Book of Circus will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: South and Central America, UK/Ireland, Australia/New Zealand.

If you didn't hear back from support (and have confirmed the response didn't end up in your spam folder), you should post in this thread in their forum:
http://www.funimation.com/forum/showthread.php?2468-Haven-t-Heard-From-Support

I assume they will post the episodes to Hulu once they are available for free viewing, and Hulu states they are available in PR:

Apparently in reality, however, it is hit or miss.

I note CR's "media:restriction" tag includes "pr" (the ISO code for Puerto Rico), so you don't have to worry about it going away. Perhaps it is Aniplex that doesn't consider PR part of the US.

It would be interesting to see if you can also view it right away at Daisuki, or if you get hit with the one week wait for the US there.

For anyone curious, the ISO country codes for Black Butler: Book of Circus are:

Please include "Yama no Susume season 2" and "A Mai Mi Season 2". You guys picked up the first seasons then. So, it's only right that you continue with seconds.

Done.

Could be an accident of the Caribbean access list being defined in a positive way ... "Spanish speaking Caribbean countries and territories".

After all, as we've seen in the European licensing, some licensors put language first, some put sovereignty first. Indeed, I believe that there's a Netherlands Antilles island that has English as a regional language, which sometimes gets license as the Netherlands and sometimes gets licensed as English Speaking Caribbean.

Probably an exclusive VOD license for the first week and a shared streaming license after. However, Funimation is more likely to share streaming rights with the licensor in exchange for no MG on streaming rights than to share streaming rights with Crunchyroll.

I do wish that Funimation was given more "use it or lose it" streaming rights where exclusive streaming only applied to countries where they made a stream available.

I'm so overjoyed that CR picked up Love Stage!! the suspense of waiting for the announcement almost killed me!! I so happy this summer because so many anime's that I actually WANTED to watch was picked up by CR. I wonder if any one else thinks that it's mainly Ecchi/Harem anime's that have been licensed and dubbed recently. It a shame

I'm really glad CR knows the meaning of variety. These are the ones i'm really glad that CR added this summer.
Love Stage!!
DRAMAtical Murder
Free! Eternal Summer
Re: Hamatora
Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun

This are the continuing ones on CR that I really like to.
Naruto Shippuden
Hunter x Hunter
Ace of the Diamond
Haikyu!!
Yowapeda (this one just ended recently so I put it on my list.
