If you have an Xbox 360 you can invest in the Funimation app. I recently subscribed to funi, I personally don't mind it at all. The app on xbox is a little bit slow like hulu trying to load up the images and what not. sometimes funi servers do go down, takes a bit of time to come back up. The streaming its great with no ads. I don't mind investing in funimation because there are some shows on funimation that aren't on CR. Some of the shows ie: Highschool DxD is uncensored. Just my two cents

I only sub to CR because the others are just too annoying. For all other anime I want to see, I get them the uhmmm... ninja way.

Im not sure why everyone finds the funi site so confusing to navigate...It's not rocket science. Just click videos -> simulcasts and there are the new shows. Search the others. Also, Funi has a better player than Crunchy. 1080 videos stop all the time on Crunchy but now that Funi has upgraded everything plays smoothly in 1080 without a hiccup. That's my opinion.

the player really didn't like my internet, at times it would just stop playing and reset the entire video, then there was the problem with them pinging me in another country, I'm in the center of the US..... I should be able to watch anything on funi

Go for funimation if you like supporting a company that uses the same voices for every anime they dub.

I was reading through hoping someone would mention this. The Xbox 360 app is fantastic (especially when compared to their website where making a queue is just ugh) and I haven't had any problems with it. Still wouldn't mind for them to get one out for the PS4, but I'm still content. I'm super pleased with their simulcasts this season, too. I think it's worth. I did have Hulu for a very long time but would always see if the show I wanted to watch was available someplace else (btwn netflix, amazon prime, CR, and Funi) just so I could watch without ads, so I dropped it.

I used to be subscribed the Funimation and I never really had a problem with it. I only unsubscribed because I decided I wanted a crunchyroll, and I don't have the funds to pay for both.

I'd say try it out free for a month and see what you think. You can always go back to Hulu if you decide you don't like Funimation.

for anime i recommend having both funimation and crunchyroll. i have hulu but i hardly use it. i watch funimation from my roku box and i wish funimation would update there interface because there is no way to queue, track and backlog what you want to watch from the tv app. its the simple things they need to do to make it better.

If you are looking for Dubs Funimation is your best option. My biggest problem with Funimation is that their video player really sucks; I always seem to have a problem with videos freezing. I used to be a subscriber to Funi but I am no longer because I got frustrated with their site. Definitely think you should go for the 2 week free trial and see if you like their site; they do have a lot of good content.

Well I have Funi for quite a while, just before they revamped their site and now so their player is a lot better. their hardly freeze any more and you can get use to navigating their site quick. Although I still encounter problem every once in a while. I recently gotten hulu plus and I think their player is better than Funi but you get the ad which i really disliked. I will prolly cancel hulu plus once I finish seeing inuyasha and maybe some one or two other show that are not available in both CR and funi. So try the free trial and see if you like Funi or at least think it worth it to pay for it. (or not pay but still us it w/ ad, you prolly gotten used to it w/ hulu) Anything else i'm sure other have mention so gl

Funimation used to have a really terrible player and site, but I personally believe that it has improved greatly over the past year that I've had my sub with them. Between CR and Funi I have legal access to just about any anime show I can imagine. Between the two sites I can easily warrant not having Cable which saves me a ton of money.

Funimation's free service is streamed through Hulu, but their paid is with their own service.
