No "English speaking" countries sadly also means no English subtitles

That probably depends on Kadokawa's splitting of the English language rights. We've had Ping Pong and Barakamon with English subs, although they're not available in any English-speaking countries.

That seems to depend on the publisher. Reportedly Ping Pong had English subtitles available, but none of the series that listed Showgate as the publisher did.

I believe Tokyo ESP is Kadokawa/Media Factory, so we shall see.

I hope that one of tomorrow's announcements be TokyoESP, it's the last one in my list to air and would be awesome if I can watch it here in Crunchyroll ^^.

The good news is you can watch it. That bad news is you have to move to Bulgaria to do so. (Well, I guess there's also Spain and a couple of other European countries).

Its listing Kadokawa as the publisher. And Madman has announced it for Australia, which could well be on the subtitles that Funimation is doing, since the simulcast streamer normally has to hand the subtitle scripts back to the licensor.

Nobunaga is involved with the symphony? Is there nothing that wily old warlord cannot do?

agila61 CR has to reach an agreement with funimation for any simulcast series, because when they leave the series went harmed; or go to the Japanese licensor and say that North America is a separate market to South America because as you say the Japanese licensor runs the license agreement all American hesmiferio cryendo that funi or media viz exploit these series for these regions

Well this announceement is all flash and no substance. The one anime in the list everyone was waiting for (tyokoyo esp) isn't available in the countries where the vast majority of the paying subscribers live.

It's a shame Funimation got Black Butler.

Daisuki also has it for the US and Canada, but on a one week delay. The same is true for Funimation if you aren't a subscriber, so I would advise viewing at Daisuki (less commercials, HD if you register [for free] and log in).

Even if you are in the UK, Black Butler wont be available on crunchyroll in English until next week

FUNi and Crunchyroll really need to start working together. I realize FUNi wants to build up their premium subscriber base, which I am a part of, but given how low their simulcast numbers are compared to CR, they should realize realize that they could be great partners. Heck, I wouldn't mind FUNi having the stream available only on their site, but I would really love to see them use R video service instead of theirs. It buffers way too much for my taste.

And I have to agree with everyone else when it comes to Gundam. Gundam is going to end up being available only via Youtube, like the last 2 series (Gundam Build Fighters & Gundam Age). Hopefully they won't restrict the US like they did with Gundam AGE though.
