If this was a thread "confirming" season 3 of K-On! then I would have lol'd

I liked K-On!'s first season. But the second one was soooo sopped in this "we might hardly see each other after high school" crap that I couldn't stand to watch more than a few episodes. It really permeated even the happy moments and I couldn't do it.

I did find Yui's path to becoming a decent guitarist funny. Because she was progressing pretty normally, and then they went to Mugi's beach house and BOOM I CAN TAP AND SHRED APPARENTLY. And then she went back to normal afterwards lol

I absolutely LOVED K-ON~ and am not ashamed whatsoever to say it! Read the Manga and everything. I absolutely adore Ritsu, She's one of My favorite Female Anime characters.

I watched the whole first season. But just because I don't like leaving an anime without finishing it. I find it pretty boring.

There are people that love K-On!
There are people that hate K-On!

I always enjoyed it.
It was a nice, almost refreshing anime.
Nothing really happened, yet there were so many things going on,
and it was more of a "daily life of high school girls" anime more than a "musical anime"-
but that's what gave it that laid back atmosphere.

(for some reason I just can't understand,
people that prefer fast paced action start watching a slow moe anime like K-On! of their own free will,
and then judge it harshly by their own standards,
instantly hating it and preaching their hate to the world.
It's not "boring" as much as it is "uneventful"-
but that's what gives it the laid back atmosphere.)

To each, their own.

I don't really give the anime a lot of thought anymore. But at the time of watching it I enjoyed it for what it was.

As a moe slice of life I think it gets the job done, but I don't rate it super high because it was more silly instead of laugh out loud funny. And I tend to prefer the latter.

I know I finished the first season, but I really can't remember much of it. Needless to say, I found K-On to be very boring and forgettable.

Pretty sure I marathoned both seasons in a day. It wasn't at all what I expected and I was kind of sad at the end when it wasn't, but it is one of the few true moeblobs I've watched and enjoyed. In terms of its genre it's fairly quintessential.

For what K-On is, a relaxed comedy about friendship, it's pretty damn great. I feel like it gets a lot of hate because it's THE moeblob show; the one that a lot of people have seen even if it's not their usual genre.

I love K-On. When I'm really bored, I'll just go back and watch a random episode. I also thought it was pretty hilarious how the show just plays up the whole cutesy anime archetype.

Also, the show kind of made me nostalgic of the first band I played in middle school. The music we played sucked, we weren't good at playing, but it was what went on around the band and making music with my friends that was fun.

Yeah, I think this is a perfect description of the show.

Sorry. I couldn't help it. She is just so quiet and likes reading so much I lost control. Her stalker harem keeps growing by the minute I'm telling you.
