You say that like it's a bad thing.

I, for one, welcome our moe-overlords, moeverlords if you will, with open arms.

Thank you based-KyoAni, you can do no wrong. Except Haruhi. That was shit.

I liked Ritsu though. I though Ritsu was great. The rest of the characters I wanted to suffocate.

Oh god I finished off the movie last night. And this is what I wrote.

It's 3am UK time and I've just finished the K-On movie. Two weeks it took me to finish both series' and it took me a full day to get enough courage to take the final step into finishing the whole thing with the movie and put the series to rest.

I've laughed, I've given myself a sore neck from sitting at my PC for hours on end watching the series and I'm now sitting here with tears in my eyes as I series I have fallen in love with has finally come to a close. Not tears of sadness though, tears of joy. Joy that the series was given the send off it truly deserved with the movie. Yes, it deserves a further series of the girls in college life (and possibly a fourth with Azunyan and Ui joining them in college but that would probably end up as a rehash of season 2) but it is highly unlikely this will happen.

K-On, you will live on forever in my soul and forever in my DVD collection. As someone who is new to the anime community, I declare that my first ever anime purchase will be the entire K-On DVD collection.

So thank you K-On, you were amazing.

Regards, UnholyKyono.

I enjoyed that series from the first episode to the last. No regrets!

I liked it. Both seasons were good. The ending was kinda sad but it had to happen so it's good. The movie was alright. Music is good, seiyuu are good, the PSP game was good.

It's a "good" series. I understand the hate for it but I enjoyed it. A good break from all the fan service and harems then.

To be honest I don't see why haters gotta rag on something they hate.

Also Mugi will always be more metal than I ever will be.

I personally liked K-On through the first season, I felt like the second season wasn't necessary though. What got me is that Bandai published it for U.S. markets and put the last episode of season one on the first disk of season two. After buying what I thought was all of season one to find a dishonest tactic like that ruined their chances of me buying anymore.

It's a bloody great series and I'll be forever waiting for the third season of it.

Patience, Ayame, we'll see you soon enough. <3

I liked K-ON, I mostly watched the anime, read some of the manga but I kind of dropped the manga after the college thing, I really liked the anime though, it was a cute lil time waster. I even made up backstories for everyone in Class 3-2 in Season 2 of the anime.... good times, good times....

Personally, I think the show is darn near a masterpiece.

I arrived at the party late though. After much of the hype around it had sadly died down.

As for the characters - I adore them all almost equally. Can't possibly have a favorite amongst them!

Ok... maybe Ritsu

Found this video of all the VAs trying out the instruments that the characters they voiced played. Obviously they were all "in character" for the video but I laughed at it.

Seeing Ayana's (Azunyans VA) reaction at 3:20 when she was handed Mustang brought a smile to my face. Also she cries at the end when they played Tenshi ni Fureta yo

I'm up to episode 6 of season 1 and loving it. Absolutely not what I normally watch but glad I did.

I read K-On High School and K-On College, didn't like it, just didn't get into it is all. As a Lucky Star fan people always told me to check it out, I haven't seen the anime [if it's on Crunchyroll I will] but I didn't like the pace, didn't find it funny either. Don't hate it, the animation is cute, just don't think it's my cup of tea.
