Honestly, I don't care to begin with. But at the place I work we have the tv's usually set to ESPN or some sports related channel. And what I absolutely HATE! and I mean HATE! Is how this happened and it's all I've seen on ESPN the ENTIRE FREAKING DAY! Numerous moves have been made in other sports, for goodness sake the World Cup is on and not that I enjoy soccer much either but it's the WORLD CUP. I never knew that Lebron James was that important to the world. Dear god....

Anyway...there's my rant for the day.

I think the reason why is because ESPN is a US based channel, and the NBA is an american organized sport.

Obviously there are other important transfers from different sports for example Luis Suarez transferring to Barcelona, but I feel that the Americans are more interested in a more local event.

And to be honest, I don't blame them especially since the MNT was eliminated from the World Cup and not only that I feel like Basketball is just a more popular sport in the US.

It doesn't matter where he is because when Kobe's bionic foot gets installed, Lebron's gonna eat nuutsack sandwich. Also, I agree that the media is giving this entirely too much coverage.

I don't really have anything to state regarding this situation, but when I heard about it earlier at Work, I found it pretty hard to believe. Cleveland; talk about having deep pockets. Funny how the Fans dumped all over Him when He left, and those same Fans are now Praising Him as if nothing ever happened.

He probably figured that if he was playing for championships all by himself in Miami that he could do the same thing at home, since he's already done that before.

Yeah, I don't get this.

Didn't Lebron kind of burn Cleveland when he left? It seems lame of them to take him back. Cleveland just seems to suck at everything when it comes to pro sports.

Well.... like Chofrizzy said, ESPN is an American channel and Basketball is one of the biggest American sports... so yeah, Basketball news is important. Besides, if you pay attention to the World Cup schedule, you would know that there is a two-day break between the semi-finals and the 3rd place match. It is understandable that there is nothing about the World Cup since there isn't anything but speculation as to who will win to report. There really is no point in reporting about the semi-finals again and the Lebron James news is the most recent sports hot-topic so it is understandable as to why it is being covered everywhere. If you really desire World Cup news or anything related, I would suggest turning on the TV today because the 3rd place match will be taking place.

By the way, I am saying this without any malice so if you are offended, I am sorry.

We Human Beings are quite the fickle Species. We absolutely love, and lavish Praise upon those amongst Us when things are going well, but the minute that the tide turns and We find Ourselves on the losing End of the deal, We will lash Out with poisonous abandon...Caring little of how those things We have said may cause the intended recipient, or Anyone else for that matter to feel regarding the impacts Our words or actions have caused. It's like We can't stand it when it's TOO HOT, and then it's unbearable when it's TOO COLD. We have to have things the way in which We want them, or Out comes the disgruntled attitudes.
