Never really paid attention to what I sound like, but some people say I sound like I look, so I wouldn't know your hardship.

Some people actually said that you sound like you look? How does that even come up in a conversation?

I've heard and have had far stranger conversations. People just randomly say things to me all the time.

Ok finally home. So here is my voice and a pic of me. Judge away.

Beware big picture...couldn't be bothered going through options to shrink it and also no glasses cause eff glare.

((DOUBLE POST FTW))
I'm curious has anyone ever read anything about a hypothesis as to why some people have "child-like" voices? I mean i'm not gonna say it because it's gonna get kind of personal but it's the case for me so i think it's kind of real. it's basically something that may have happened to you as a child, that is all i'm saying.

And umm no people have never come and told me that i sound like a tranny. that's just the closest thing i can think of to describe what i hear when i speak, record it, and then play it back to myself

I vaguely remember something about the child-like voice thing but I don't remember enough to actually recall what it was.

Is it weird though that I want to hear it since you are describing it as tranny-esque?

I look younger than I am, but not by much imo.
I'm 18, but I think I look 16/17 with short hair.

I was, at least for a long while, the boy with a very high voice and I'd often get teased for it. I didn't care though, a lot of their mock impressions made me chuckle. Eventually it deepened quite a bit and the last comment on it I got from any of them was how it was quite soothing and easy to listen to so that was nice. As for whether it matches how I look I don't know, I'd assume so. Since you think your voice sounds a bit like a tranny, may I ask what you're recording your voice with? Some voice recording equipment, at least if it's cheap, tends to make your voice sound deeper than it really is. My voice over the phone sounds almost an octave lower than it really is.

lolz :3 thx ^_^

My voice is high-pitched and squeaky. Most of the time, when I answer the phone, telemarketers think I am 6-7 years old. It slightly matches my appearance I guess? I don't know. I wouldn't be able to imagine myself with a different voice.
