I like to have a planned series of steps which I follow in the event that I face a problem with a device or program, and while I may growl and grumble a bit as I proceed through these steps keeping to them tends to keep me calm and in control of the situation.

Step 1: Attempt to determine what the problem is specifically.
Step 2: Error check each part of the program or device which could be the root of the problem.
Step 3: Resolve any errors determined to be present.
Step 4: Check to see if problem remains.
Step 5: If problem remains, recheck for errors. If any are found, repeat 3 and 4.
Step 6: If problem still remains, seek external assistance.

If I lose my sense of control I get angry, but that's what the steps are for: to make sure that doesn't happen. That's also why external assistance is part of the equation, to keep me from getting trapped in a permanent loop which just builds and builds and builds frustration.

First, get utterly pissed off.
Then, try to look up how to fix it.
All those things fail?
Smash it to the ground.
Get back to using it, as the final method usually works.
Then get pissed off again, about how I didn't do that to start off.

If it's my PC.
Then go to bed and keep hating on the world, then fall asleep.
Then try something when I wake up.

Act like I know what I'm doing and do whatever nonsense I think of to fix it. That works a lot, actually.

calm down, disconnect the main power cable[if its have one],find a good comfortable environment to work on it,use common sense to try to fix it,google it,if everything failed, just light a cigarette and chill. most of the time,if the user get angry and started fixing hastily ,they actually make the damage worse.just remember everything on this universe have a time limit,at some point,no matter what item it is,it will die.

I attempt to turn it on once more, and when it doesn't I grab my axe, then say "turn on or else". It works instantly, it has never failed before.

Usually with a false swearing spree if it messes up my work. I just try to fix it if it doesn't.
