So over the past few weeks I switched over to my PS3 because the app was more stable somehow. Then a few days ago I started having serious problems with skipping/stuttering/pausing so today I switched back to my xbox360.

Basically it's either not loading (bringing up a blank screen without even attempting to load), skipping slightly, or pausing, and quality is switching so frequently between HD and SD it's actually distracting.

No it's not an internet connection. I know this because 1. I can watch netflix on my PS3 without any problem, 2. If the internet even hiccups my PS3 disconnects from the PSN and my Xbox disconnects from Xbox Live, and 3. It actually told me to check the xbox status page because it told me that Crunchyrolls servers weren't responding. I also have full connectivity to the internet through my laptop which is the first thing to disconnect when I'm having internet issues.

I have gotten the "Crunchyroll Server Unavailable" error twice in the past 20 minutes and my PS3 will just sit on a blank/frozen image forever if I let it.

For the 360, if you're seeing the "Server Unavailable" message at the same time code on an episode repeatedly, it's an error with the encode, and has to be fixed with a manual re-encode, and should be reported to Bjaker through the /contact form or by emailing [email protected] (I provide the time(s) and a link to the episode in question).

As for the poor performance on both PS3/360, all devices are served from the same CDN, separate from the one serving videos for browser sessions, so if you experience congestion (too much traffic from other users) on one, you'll likely see it on the other, but may not on your PC.

The error wasn't on the same time, but was in the same episode, but I was having trouble viewing other shows as well.

It was probably a traffic issue. Unfortunately I don't have a pc which I can view crunchyroll with...

Every once in a while, I'll see it not at the exact same time, around the same time, a bit later each time I to catch it.

Your laptop is a PC (or Mac; same thing with a browser in this case).

Yes, but it's a 10 year old pc which is running Linux and has trouble most of the time running Facebook... so it isn't really an option.

I'll keep an eye out to see whether it's that episode.
