This is a useless topic, but whatever.

I suffer from Resting Bitch Face, which, for those of you who do not know, means you have a bitchy regular facial expression. This is not intentional. It just happens.

My question is: does this make a person less approachable to you? Do you avoid people with RBF? Do you have RBF?

Discuss.

Hmmm... Did you get this term from Buzzfeed by the way?
Anywho... To a guy like me yeah I would be slightly less influenced to approach a girl if she looks like she has an attitude because of the fact that I don't know if she wants to be bothered or not, but I know too many chicks that just look like that naturally, so I'll try anyway just in case. Plus, sometimes that semi-cold, 'I'm just relaxing' look is attractive to me. I feel that just because you're a woman doesn't mean you always have to smile and act friendly if you don't feel like it...

As a male here, I have RBF. It's very annoying since my friends are always OMG are you okay? did something happen? did I say something offensive? Or they avoid me entirely haha
Usually i tell that's how my face is and not to worry about it. But strangers don't usually call me out on it.

I only get RBF when I'm very relaxed, or I'm very focused on something. Regular conversation not so much.

Yea a lot of people think I'm either depressed or hate the world when they see my resting face. I'm actually a pretty upbeat guy, though.

I have an RBF. People always say I look like I'm mad or always ask me if something is wrong.
People tend to stay away from me or even when they converse with me they're really cautious and awkward.

PEOPLE! I'M NOT GOING TO KILL YOU! I'M A NICE PERSON!

I've made plenty of people cringe or go silent. Combined with hereditary dark eye lids I've been told many times I look angry or scary lol.

I'm a quiet person for the most part but I'm actually pretty nice. As an image think of an anime guy with glasses who scowls XD

Yes, I "suffer" from this RBF. I've heard it referred to as RBF in the past and after hearing it described, I knew that's what my face was cursed with, and after all these years! I dunno, it's especially in my mouth, it sort of has this "pouty" look to it and I have no idea how to train myself how to fix it, if there is a way to do something about it.

I mean sure, I'm not the most positive, lively person, but gosh dangit, I'm not like mad or pissed off 24/7, it's just the way my face is. I think it has been (but not totally the reason) why I haven't been approached by a lot of people.

I probably have this issue as well since I have been told I look angry or something at times. Personally I would describe my usual face as neutral and emotionless. I don't really show emotion unless the emotion is strong. I do wonder if there will ever be someone that can see right through me, it is not impossible to tell but my signs are usually not very obvious.

I think it would only be natural for people to avoid those who look bitchy all the time more than others. I don't really smile a lot and my normal face...doesn't exactly look happy. Kind of a mix between sad and angry...with a bit of I'm better than you thrown in. At least it looks that way to me. So I think people avoid me often as well. All is well though since I try to avoid them too.

Sierra, you have a kawaii face. Shut up, you. And as for me, I always have the "Go Fuck Yourself Face" which is now aka GFFF.

It's in the eye of the beholder or I don't care. Take your pick.

I have the same problem. I have the biggest b*tch face I know.

I look like this when I'm resting or being neutral. And people always think I'm angry or that I hate them or that I'm a mean person.

So new people I meet like to put up a guard against me... they sound mean and tough at the start. And then when people know how gentle I am, they start treating me nicer... WHICH I always feel awkward by... it's like... I'm so used to you being mean... that... you being nice... feels... weird.

I'm told I always look tired, or possibly high, but never been told I have a bitch face.
