I'm always asked if there's anything wrong with me since I keep one facial expression for most of the day

I need to learn this.. My youthful (and mostly cheerful) appearance always means people approach me and try to talk to me all the time..

I have RBF, and people who recognize me from high school always go "Yeah, I remember you, I used to see you in the hallways. You always looked so angry!" Really, most times, I'm either tired or daydreaming. But I'm grateful for it, because it does keep away people I wouldn't want to talk to, and it's intimidating for people who don't know me very well.

I do avoid people who look like they're not very nice, because it's really a toss up. Sure, there's a chance that they just have RBF, but there's also a chance that they will stab the next person who bothers them. Although, if they start talking to me, I'll be glad to have a conversation with them.

It tends to make you less approachable, but I have found most women with this are generally some of the nicest ones I've met. Guys, on the other hand, stay the F**K away...

Just personal experience...

My face is like Ryuuji's from Toradora. If I'm not smiling it looks like I'm scowling. I'm not a very intimidating person but when I'm walking down the street people usually move out of my way. Its convenient and annoying at the same time.

I've been told by a friend of mine whose quite blunt, that when she first saw/met me she thought I was snobby and didn't want to talk to others.

That happened to me too lol, that's why I make an excessive effort to maintain a smile in public xD

I have a similar problem. I'm always told by friends, "Oh cheer up!" or they keep asking what's wrong.
Nothing. Nothing is wrong. This is just how my face looks.

I have RBF! I'm always asked if something is wrong or if I'm mad. I'm soft-spoken but my tone of voice usually sounds like I'm bothered by the fact that you've decided to speak to me. I smile and laugh very easily though so I think that helps a lot since I'm not bothered when someone speaks to me!

I guess I have RBF, I also tend not to express myself too easily so even if I am happy I don't always smile. It was worst in school when I'd always hear comments about me looking sad or annoyed. I trained myself to have a fake smile and it seems to be surprisingly convincing. I'm not sure I recommend it though, it can be just as frustrating when I'm smiling and people are talking about how happy I look all the time. It's doubly bad when I'm down or depressed. That said, I'm pretty tolerant of people so I guess it's doubly strange that I feel compelled to be false at times (although in a way, being cheerful and approachable represents my personality better).

Also, my voice tends to sink into a monotone that can sound bored or unenthusiastic and that doesn't help at all.
