So recently anime's that I have wanted to watch have only been available for US citizens.. Attack on Titan and now Sword Art Online 2..

Are my money that I have paid for like 2+ years not the same as US citizens pay you? Why do I have to pirate anime shows that US citizens like me, pay for. But it seems my money does not equal to the money that US citizens pay.

I think I have had my sub active for 3 or 4 years, and yet I am not allowed to watch the shows that US people can.

Considering cancelling my sub..

So I ask as a European, why are my money worth less than those in the US?

You have a weird way of putting it but...this is just another licensing restriction complaint yes?

Welcome to the insanity of geographic restrictions on a network without boarders. The technology may have advanced, but it would seem a large portion of the content industry is stuck in the mid 20th century. It not cause your money is worth less, it is cause the people publishing this stuff think they can get more money licensing on a country by country basis. I wish people would stop supporting this model but I doubt that will happen.

Follow Australia's lead and use one of the services designed to get around this sort of idiocy. It's TOS violation but the worst that they are going to do is ban you, a lawsuit would be massively expensive and really bad PR against someone try to pay for content.
I post links but CR probably wouldn't like that.

Pretty much.

Also isn't bypassing the region restrictions (to the 3 that brought that up) against the terms and service agreement for CR?

Yeah, but worst case you get banned, and that is just asking people to go to illegal streaming sites that have it same day as CR.

I would think so. It's why I didn't bring it up. I would imagine if it was thought CR endorsed that kind of thing that those people would no longer wish to do as much business with them.

I can't find bypassing in the ToS.

I actually can't find the words, "region" or "bypass"

Is this one of those "adblock" things again where you're not supposed to mention... then oops (then again there is always google so...)

SAO II is available legally and for free on Daisuki. That's where I've been watching it. They also have a few other shows that aren't available on CR in my territory (like Madoka).

I know the licensing situation is not nice for a lot of territories, but it is getting better over time and blaming Crunchyroll for it won't help things at all.

It usually vaguely worded to be as broad as possible.

Forge any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any posting or in any way use the Site or Services to send altered, deceptive or false source-identifying information;
Upload, post, submit or otherwise transmit any User Submissions or Translated Content that contain software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to (i) interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software; or (ii) interfere with the access of any user, host or network, including without limitation sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming or mail-bombing the Site;
Upload, post, submit or otherwise transmit any User Submissions or Translated Content that include code that is hidden or otherwise surreptitiously contained within the images, audio or video of any User Submissions or Translated Content that is unrelated to the immediate, aesthetic nature of the User Submissions or Translated Content;
Interfere with or disrupt (or attempt to interfere with or disrupt) any web pages available at the Site, servers or networks connected to the Site, Services or the technical delivery systems of Crunchyroll's providers or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Site or Services;
Attempt to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any Crunchyroll system or network or breach or impair or circumvent any security or authentication measures protecting the Site or Services;
Attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any of the software used to provide the Site or Services;
Attempt to access, search or meta-search the Site with any engine, software, tool, agent, device or mechanism other than software and/or search agents provided by Crunchyroll or other generally available third party web browsers (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Opera), including without limitation any software that sends queries to the Site to determine how a website or web page ranks;
Collect or store personal data about other Crunchyroll Users without their express permission;
Impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, through pretexting or some other form of social engineering or otherwise commit fraud;

I don't know that anyone is blaming CR, so much asking asking why they should continue paying for it when the licensing for a region is limited at best. It might not be CR's fault but I can understand how license uncertainty can be annoying when paying for a service.

They can exercise forbearance, if they chose to enforce those in this particular situation without any pressure from publishers they would just be throwing away money and making themselves a target for greyhat hackers.... Personally I would hate to see that happen, I hate it when my services get interrupted by hackers, it is very annoying. The Sony PSN breach was pretty bad but even DDoS would be highly annoying.

I can tell this.
I pay in US dollars, my country use US dollars, My money is the same as money from a American Citizen. Yet I have VPN that is very powerful to the US that give corporates IP but because I don't want I don't use it on CR.
What if my ISP give me a default US address and I am not even in the US since they give me Dynamical IP and not Statics one? CR is not very able to find it out unless a warrant is made (Still wondering if CR block no IP address)

If the series is not available on your location then the Intellectual Property is not registered on your country therefore there is a big huge chance that you are not committing Copyright violation.

Yes I download content not available on CR like Akume No riddle and etc.

Well, the OP's wording reads like he thinks Crunchyroll values US customers much more than others, when they are in fact trying to get series for as many territories as they can while still earning profit. I get that the licensing is annoying, especially since my territory is often left out too (maybe not as often as some), but the licensors are often the ones making decisions on what is an NA only series or which other limited territories they pick. Complaining about it on forums isn't going to help anyone.

If CR had different pricing models for territories based on their selection, people would most likely circumvent it to get cheaper premium and it would just make things worse.
