Dragonball was the dope in the 90s and still is.

Even after all these years I still love dragonball and it makes me feel nostalgic.
I love this anime because of the sense of adventure, comedy, etc. This show
is just hitting me with nostalgia with the sound track, voice acting, and all the
characters i love.

What show makes you fell nostalgic ?

I must start reading stuff I write For me it would be a Robotech. Now as an adult anime make zero sense, but it is always fun to watch.

Record of Lodoss War, Patlabor (technically 80s) Tenchi Muyo and Macross Plus. These are shows that really sucked me into the genre originally and still stand the test of time.

I would probably have to choose Gundam Wing. Outlaw Star and Blue Submarine No. 6 both have that effect on me too. A lot of great animes from the 90's didn't really reach our shores until the early 2000's. So if I'm allowed to fudge the time frame a bit, I'd choose those.

I've tried rewatching Dragon Ball, but I just haven't found myself in the mood for it. Dragonball Z I rewatched recently to the end of the Freiza saga, then I stopped because I didn't enjoy the Cell saga too much.

Tanoshii Muumin Ikka (Delightful Moomin Family) & Tanoshii Muumin Ikka Bouken Nikki (Delightful Moomin Family: Adventure Diary)

They are very likely the first anime I've ever seen since I started watching them back when I was a baby. They are series based on the Moomin books by the Finnish Swede author Tove Jansson, so they were quite the big deal here back in the day (and still are). They're basically Slice of Life following the lives of the hippo-like creatures called the Moomins. While they are children's shows, they do have some darker themes and occasional scary moments too (Ghost Ship and Lady of the Cold being the most memorable).

I haven't seen the Japanese versions, but the Finnish dubs are still among my favorites. They were followed up by the movie Muumindani no Suisei (Comet in Moominland), which is also very nostalgic to me.

Ranma 1/2 which technically started in '89 but didn't really hit its stride until the 90's.
