Beauty secrets!!!!
Posted 7/16/14
Getting enough sleep (minimum 8 hours, preferably from 10PM-6AM) is the best beauty secret I'll ever give anyone.

People waste 1000's of dollars on beauty cream, but really... it's this simple thing called sleep that helps you stay young the most. The body starts repairing different parts of your body every hour of sleep, so 1 hour of sleep missed, means 1 hour of unrepaired damage...

If you have acne that won't go away: wash your face with distilled water twice a day.

Beauty is kinda a hobby for some people, any beauty secrets from my fellow Crunchyrollers? I'm just curious I guess :P
Here are some of mine (yes, they apply with guys, as well):
Soft lips: Exfoliate (brown sugar+ a teeeeny bit of olive oil), brush with a toothbrush (a normal one, I guess), and mint lip balm (It works better, in my opinion)
Smooth legs: Shaving (duuur -_-), Exfoliate (just like the lip one, except a bit more olive oil
Shaving with conditioner is better than shaving with shaving cream
That's all I have for now.

I shall try the soft lips thing! My lips are always dry :(.

Even though it's not a common thing... guys still do it (mostly swimmer). I don't think there's anything wrong with a man shaving his legs. Why is it normal for girls to shave their legs and not normal for them to have hairy legs? I personally like smooth legs but sometimes I get lazy and don't shave for like a month. If it makes you happy then do what you want. I don't care if men (Even women) are disgusted/offended by the NATURAL hair on my legs.

I can't say that men shouldn't shave their legs, I for one actually like hair on my legs. It gives off a 'manly' appeal? Idk, but. I honestly don't mind if a girl legs is hairy, just as long as I don't have to touch it, and it's not out of control..

This is a good post! I've been changing my eating and living habits for almost the same reason. Exercise + lots of water is always a must, but it really is important to take vitamins as you get older (I've been primarily taking fiber, probiotics, detox, and Omega 3). It gives you the nutrients your body lacks as food isn't enough to cover for it usually. I'll have to try the apple cider vinegar hair wash.

Here's a couple of extra tips that worked for me:

1. Castor oil for longer eyelashes. Just dab it on with a Q-tip overnight daily for results.
2. Coconut oil for healthy skin and hair. Dab a few fingertips worth on as a moisturizer or use it as a hair mask.
3. SLEEP. I can't stress how important this is although ironically, I'm a night owl myself.
