I understand what you say, most people expect something in return. I remember once in real life that a classmate girl gifted me something and then she was begging me to buy her things. I love gifting because I love to see my friends happy since I don't have much friends, people often judge me without even knowing me so it's kind like a proof of appreciation :D

Well, that's how the majority of humans you'll meet through life are.
I'm sad to say, even I'm the same. If I were to gift someone, I would most certainly ask for something in return.
I know it's not exactly right to do that, and what you say sounds like a much nicer feel, but my mind just responds that way.

I would love to receive gifts... but I always feel guilty. In one hand, I have this amazing product and someone had willingly went out of their way to get it for me. But... They spent money that they could have used elsewhere and on something more important.

The way that I'm living right now, I've had quite the run in with bad luck, so every dollar counts for me. I guess that's why I feel so guilty when people buy stuff for me.

But to answer your specific question, nope. I've never received something from a wish list. In fact, I didn't even know there was a wish list function on CR.

Each forum quote and Guestbook post are like a gift to me.

Same here, but it's a curse when I don't know how I should reply to it :/

I only have 1 figure for my wish list and it's $130. I don't think anyone is going to spend that much for a present.

Aw. Well, everyone has their believes and thoughts. Just out of curiousity, had you have bad experiences with gifting someone else already? Why don't you like to be gifted? It feels good to receive presents! I get dead nervous before opening them buuut it passes as soon as you open it.

No bad experience, but I don't like receiving stuff from people because I feel like I'm somehow in their debt and have to repay them. Like with presents, I always feel like a jerk when someone gives me something and I don't have anything for them. It's like "Oh, you got me a Christmas present.. I didn't get you one.. Now I feel like a douche.. Thanks a lot, man.."

You're so hilarious! I know what you mean =w= *high five*

Yeaaaaah I'm aware of that DX
Deep inside I kind of wait for something... I really want people to get beside me and not to go away so I try my best so they never leave my side as everyone does I guess thats why I gift...

Unless the person works, is single, doesn't have anything to spend on he/she will. Believe me, I actually would gift people expensive gifts if I had a job :\ but I don't @_@
Also that figure cost so much! XD Which is it about? I bet it's a statue!
