Hm, depends on overall reception of anime around the world, but since the world is fucked up and people consume ecchi anime at most i would say no.

edit: i know this anime has some ecchi but i believe some aspects of the anime are much more deeper than this, and hope it stays like that (If it has a second season), and not become a SAO which 2cnd and 3rd season (GGO) main drama is retarded and full of fanservice so kids can masturbate on

Depends on how things sell i suppose. But to be honest. I would not be that confident. Call it a gut feeling.

ahh fair enough, imo I enjoyed it, I am looking at the manga and they did missed out quite a lot which wasn't in the anime because they missed out some stuff it obviously could have been a longer season, the adaptation wasn't that but it could have easily been a 20 episode anime

We will have a better idea when the initial sales figures for home video in Japan are issued. The first sale isn't scheduled until July 30.

There were a lot of things I would like to know like: the stuff about aliens, the background about neko al Valkyria, why they chose these girls for experimentation, and other thing; but It was kind of disappointed with the pacing of the show, so I'm really not expecting a second season.

And I understand that they might have outpaced the manga, IIRC. If there is a second season, it will not be for a very long time.

If they rollback the last three episodes and start from there, they might have a better chance of it.... the series seemed like about halfway into it they learned they weren't gonna get a second season, so they rewrote what they planned for season 2 and replaced the end of season one with that super-rushed condensed storyline that skipped entire books of the manga.

But the odds of a rollback like that is about as high as the odds of a new season of Maoyu

Nope. Absolutely not.

They would have to redo the series fr the start in order to continue it. I don't see this being remade so we'll probably never see this series animated ever again. It's really unfortunate too because the manga is fantastic.

As much as I could complain about how bad it was adapted, I won't.

I'll just say the way it left off they could have another season. Although the manga is barely past where the anime left off so I wouldn't expect one for a few years if at all.

I would not want one. And this is coming from a big fan of the manga and someone who had high hopes when the anime began. Those hopes didn't last

If they do make another one, it would be in their best interest to go the FMA Brotherhood route and do a complete reboot of the anime and follow the manga more faithfully.

Yeah same. I would go with a remake rather than season 2. And also, change the studio. I've accepted the fact that studio ARMS is one of the worst studios when it comes to adaptation material of recent years. This even goes for original series as well.

I don't think there is any chance of a season 2 but I wish there was, I really enjoyed the anime. Is it different from the manga? Yes, but imo that doesn't make it bad. It is a good story in its own right, and I think a lot of what it does is very good, albeit not quite as good as the manga

Got some examples of those horrors?
