Lax flung the door of the facility open, the dark room shrouded in darkness. He flipped a light switch, and the lights from above flickered after three seconds. Though dim, Lax would do with less blinding light. He took Revan to the emergency room, while at the same time basking in the smell of the hospital room. It smelled like death, among other things.

Inside the room with confusing equipment and objects, Lax laid Revan on the surgical bed. Looking around the room, he found a doctor's coat and put it on with a grin. He walked back to his unconscious friend, sighing irritably. "I have to be honest here, pal," Lax said, looking around at the room full of mysterious objects. "I have no fucking idea what I'm doing. Hey, if you die because of me, you better not fucking haunt me!" Lax was yelling, calming down shortly after remembering something. ...needle and thread...rubbing alcohol... Lax scanned the area, finding the needed materials on a table in front of him. There was more mysterious objects, so he grabbed them as well, just in case he needed more. "Well," he said, walking back over to Revan with the newfound items. "Let's get started, shall we?" Lax began to laugh, finding the situation oddly entertaining.

(Lax makes everything more comical than serious XD)

Revan was half awake, and in a lot of pain. The wounds he sustained from Keela were deep, but suturing them would (probably) keep him alive. "If you kill me...you're damn right I'm going to haunt you." He rolled up a piece of towel. "Pour the alcohol into these holes, then wipe it off with a rag, a clean one preferably." Speaking was very difficult. "Then sew them shut. Please be neat about it." Revan bit down on the piece of towel. This was going to hurt. He didn't know if he would survive, but it was better than nothing. He wondered if the shinobi girl and her group had found the hospital. He silently hoped they did, for both their sakes. After all, you have something of mine.

(Hooray for amateur field doctor-ing! XD)

Lax did as he asked, reluctantly of course. The job he performed was slow rather than fast, as he wanted to be careful not to 'accidentally' kill him. "You can be a little grateful, you piece of shit." Lax grunted, wiping off a sweat from his forehead. He followed his instructions, surprised by how many wounds his friend had obtained. It was almost laughable. "Why the hell didn't you kill her? She didn't even look that strong." Lax was skeptical, had his friend gone soft? After what seemed hours but only long grueling minutes, Lax began to sew one of the holes and afterwards, he started on the rest.

Keela shifted in her bed, subconsciously raising her knees closer to her chest. A series of recent nightmares- or memories- had left her in a state of sleep. It seemed like maybe a few hours passed, and she remembered seeing a frantic BV tending to her wounds. There was a long curtain beside her, separating her from the other patient- who she assumed was Ben. A mixed range of emotions swept over her just thinking about the name, so she focused on trying to wake up from her current nightmare. Blood...lot's of...blood.... She was running.

"Why didn't YOU kill your opponent, friend?" His wounds were haphazardly sewn up by his companion. Hopefully that would be enough. "I wonder if they followed us here. If so, we should be careful. On of them had a sniper rifle." His bed was uncomfortable, he hurt like hell, and his switchblade was gone. "Tch. They better take care of it.." He got up. The bandages on his wounds itched. He wanted to talk with that girl some more. Maybe she could understand his current predicament better than Lax.
(They better hope so XD)

Lax was too tired and annoyed to even retort with anything. I was busy saving your dumb ass, friend. At this point, he was sitting on a chair with his arms crossed and head downcast, attempting to sleep but it just wasn't taking him. He looked toward the window, it had been morning already but he closed the curtains. Daylight bugged him. It didn't look like they were leaving anytime soon. A morning storm had been active as of late and the wind continued to howl with hard rain splattering on the windows and through the roof. Lax sighed, throwing a 'clean' towel toward Revan and covering up his entire face. "No offence, but your face is pissing me off right now. Shut up and go to sleep before I decide to open your wounds again."

(This sounds more like a horror movie every minute XD)

Terrible dreams haunted Benjamin as he sleep, past memories of assassinations, winning fights and battles. Dozens of shinobi body's lay at his feet and he grasped a bloody katana in one hand. It seemed as if he was locked in a black room with death. He dropped the black katana and it clattered against the floor, causing an echo. He raised his bloodstained hands and noticed something at his feet, someone he knew. [

Kyla? he said, his voice bouncing off the walls.

He fell to his knees and cradled her body, clutching her close. His body hurt and he could feel what felt like stinging and then a needle prick, over and over again. He felt exhausted, and his heart rate was jumpy, but didn't let her go.

"I love you, Kyla." he whispered into her ear.

The sound of footsteps is heard and a cold hard object is pressed up against his head.

"How pitiful! Even in Death, you still cling to her!" a voice said.

There was a gunshot and he bolted upright in bed.

"Kyla!" He screamed.

It took him a moment to realize where he was, in a hospital room. His uniform had been removed and he was in an uncomfortable bed under the covers. He looked down and he was covered in bandages, he looked up and around the room. There was a long curtain separating another room. He threw the covers aside and swung his legs over the edge and tried to stand, but his left leg immediately collapsed and he fell to his right knee, knocking over the tray.

"Kyla..." He whispered to himself.

Keela remembered bodies. Lots of dead bodies. There was a wild fire in the village, but somehow, she thought she saw Ben through the flames. The smoke had entered her lungs at that point, so she wasn't sure. Gunshots sounded, voices screamed, and after that, Keela was sure she had woken up. But she didn't.

She sat up in her bed slowly, her eyes clouded with sleep. She moved her body sluggishly so she could sit at the edge of the bed, inspecting the area with no particular expression. With one leg on the floor, and then another, she stood up straight without fail. The sound of a metal object seemed to fall to the floor the moment she stood up, but she ignored it. She left the room with the door wide open, walking the halls of the hospital and stopping every three seconds to look behind her. It was cold, and the lights would flicker on and off every so often, most likely due to the storm. She stopped at a vending machine that seemed un-operational, placing her hand against the glass that hid countless snacks. She looked around for a weapon and found a broom in the corner, using the end of it, she jammed it repeatedly into the glass of the vending machine until it broke, leaving shattered pieces of glass in her wake.

Grabbing a doughnut, she began munching on it and heading toward another room.

(Sleep walking ftw xD)

He was drifting in an out of sleep for hours. Every time he'd wake up with cold sweat, as though he'd been having a nightmare. Each time he was unable to recall what he had dreamt about. I'm getting real sick of this amnesia BS. The final time he woke up, he decided to stay up. Lax was fast asleep, mumbling some nonsense in his sleep. He may be an evil son of a bitch, but he saved me nontheless. Revan rose from his bed, his chest protesting with each painful movement. He thought of injecting himself with morphine, but decided that he needed his wits about him. His legs were sore, and had a few minor cuts and bruises, but they still worked. His sheathed katana was on the end table, and he took it with him. Just in case. Outside was a typical hospital setting. Sanitary hallways leaving little room for other decor. Far in the distance, he thought he saw a vending machine, snacks and all. He wasn't particularly hungry, especially after getting a mouth full of a certain jangly man's flesh. Down the opposite side of the hall was a small bookshelf, adorned with a single tome. The cover was faded, but after flipping through it, Revan deduced that it was some kind of surgical hand guide. Useful. As he inspected his surroundings, the sound of shattering glass broke the silence. Either Lax is pissing around, or someone else is here.

Keela entered a closet full of cleaning supplies. There was a mop, she dunked it into the cleaning water and began mopping the floors in a circular motion. Afterwards, she continued walking until she came upon what seemed to be the hospital waiting area. She crawled over the counter and sat there, picking up the telephone next to her that was unhooked from its power source.

"Hello? How may I help you?" Keela answered the dead phone, but only heard white noise through the line. "Goodbye." She said, slamming the phone onto the desk. The doors flung open then, it had apparently been Autumn, because fall leaves flew in when a group of patients ran to the counter out of sorts. One of them was a fairly young couple, who had asked Keela where they would find their sickly child. She gave them a nonexistent room number. They disappeared. The next was three teenagers who had gotten into a brutal fist fight and needed attention. The next, and last was an elderly man who looked at Keela quite knowingly.

He smiled, nodding at her behind the counter.

"How may I help you?" She asked him. He only stared at her, smiling gently. "Can I help you-" She was cut off.

"Keela, you have grown up to become such a strong and beautiful young lady. I am so proud of you." The elder spoke, unmoving.

Keela stared at him for a while, tilting her head in confusion. "Do I know you?" She asked, her voice bearing no specific emotion.

"Yes, you do. I've known you for quite some time, young one. I'm so sorry I couldn't be there to watch you grow..." The old man smiled with a melancholy expression. But his eyes hid the real truth, the real pain. Suddenly, his once pale and wrinkly face was painted with a crimson red.

Keela knew he had been dead. "Who killed you?"

The man hesitated for a moment. "Keela, what matters now is how you deal with some of your returning memories. You mustn't run away and isolate yourself when things get difficult. You must surround yourself with people who care about you-"

"Who killed you?" Keela repeated again, her voice rising. He disappeared then, leaving her question unanswered. In his place, stood a young lady with black hair and a ruby red ribbon tied around it. Her face had been caked it blood, and she began skipping around Keela in a circle.

"Do you really wanna know, Keekee?" The woman laughed manically, echoing throughout the building. Keela instantly slapped her hands to cover her ears. "I mean, I think it's pretty obvious, don't you?"

The woman disappeared after a moment. Her ears had still been ringing, but at least she didn't hear the woman's voice anymore. She held out her hands and looked at them intently, a drop of blood spilling in her palm. She touched her wrist against her nose, realizing she had been bleeding from the nose ever since the elder came to her. She stared at her hands in horror as her cheek met the cold floor.

(Try lucid dreaming. It makes nightmares 100000xs more fun >:D)

Revan was creeping along the hallway towards the vending machine. If who-or whatever broke the glass was human, he would try to reason with them. Then stab them. Maybe. Probably. He was getting closer and he heard a feminine voice speaking to herself. Am I dreaming? Hallucinating? He looked at his hands, then at a clock. Neither showed irregularities, so he determined that either someone his there or he really was hallucinating. He stopped. The girl was yelling now. He tried to listen to what she was saying but the walls muffled and distorted her speaking. Just as Revan was going to draw his katana, an audible 'smack' was heard. Turning the corner into what was presumably a waiting room, a girl was lying face down on the floor. Is she dead? He cautiously approached her. She was breathing, but it was as though she was in panic. Turning her over, Revan was met with something truly unexpected. It was the girl he had fought with-and spared. How did...? He wondered just how she got there. If she was there, then surely her friends were too. Should I just leave her here? He paced back and forth, musing over how to handle this situation. Then, as though he was possessed ny some supernatural force, Revan picked the girl up and was carrying her. Why am I doing this? I have no need to get involved. No matter how his logic attempted to appeal to his body, it wouldn't listen.
He laid her down on a bed in a room adjacent to the waiting room. He covered her up with a blanket, and left without a word. Why am I being so nice to this girl? He continued asking that question on his trek back to where Lax was.

(What a gentleman :D)

BV had been fast asleep on a chair next to Keela's bed, with her head resting on the end of it. Of course, she'd intended to watch over them both, but fell asleep from exhaustion pretty much the moment she'd sat down.

She stirred when the bed moved as Keela left it. She slowly woke up, looking around sleepily. "Nnnn...five more minutes..." she mumbled, until she realised the bed was empty. "K-Keela...?"

Then she heard Ben's voice and there was a crash from behind her. She seemed to wake up, bolting up and pulling the curtain aside. "B-Ben? Are you okay? A-Ah! Let me help you!"

Benjamin struggled to stand, his breath ragged and his leg still shaky.

"Where is she?" He asked. "Is she still alive? Please tell me that she's okay.."

Benjamin seemed to be helped up by an invisible force, and a ghostly voice was heard whispering in his ear.

"Fight for what makesss you happy, my ssssson. Remember, I ssshall always be there for you, when you need me. You'd only have to call out."

Ben looked in the direction that the voice came from and saw nothing for a moment. After a while, an old man walked out of the darkness, dressed in Japanese robes and carried a katana at his hip. He smiled kindly and bowed deeply to Benjamin, his hands put together as if in prayer.

Oh, my boy...Look at how much you've grown. I remember when I found you wandering the streets of the city, and I saw the fire in your eyes. I am proud of the man you've become. he said. "But it's not over yet, my boy. Press on, and fight for what you believe in."

Benjamin stared in disbelief and shook his head.

"Who am I?! What am I?! Tell me, please!" He cried out.

But the old man inky shook his head with a smile.

"You know who and what you are, my son." he said, and he was gone.

(I've tried lucid dreaming, it's awesome XD But then there's those dreams where I KNOW I'm sleeping and struggle to get up x.x Those are the worst)

Keela hugged her blanket closer as she mumbled incoherent things in her sleep. A few hour or so later she woke up to the taste of blood in her mouth. There was a bathroom in the room, so she used it to wash her face, meticulously trying to scrub away all the blood. Afterwards, she left the bathroom in a daze as she looked around in the room. Her katana was gone, and neither Ben or BV had been there. How did I get here... She paced around, looking for any sort of familiarity. This isn't where I slept before, is it?

She walked back into the hallway, somehow finding her way back to the spot she'd passed out. There was droplets of blood on the floor, and she knew instantly it was hers. Somehow being in the certain area gave her cold chills, and she looked around the spacious hallway. Having no idea what room she'd initially came from, she went back to the previous room and sat there in contemplation.

(I thought he was going to throw her outside into the storm xDD)
