Similar issue on Apple TV. Started last night. Watching the latest episodes of Hunter x Hunter and Blue Spring Ride many hours after release.

Sometimes it freezes the video so that you have to go back to the menu and restart the video to fix it.

Also on the desktop it has been pausing sometimes as well, but not to the same degree and going to 720p usually fixes that.

Glad to see that support is aware! We forget that they are busy with work, and might not have time to check the forums. If we all send emails to them though, they become aware quicker. Especially when it's a bunch of emails.

Having this on PS4 all day today, just got another free trial, everytime I try out cr its the same and messes up, no matter what I watch from, xbox's, playstations, or pc. I hope its fixed sometime, this really pushes me away from subscribing.

For the past week, I haven't been able to get through a single episode of anything without it freezing and crashing. It always seems to freeze in the middle of an intense, action packed scene! It's so frustrating. I'm starting to think Crunchyroll is not worth my money.

I wanted to wait until after the episode was over to be sure, but I backed out of it and restarted the app, and it ran fine. I'm about to watch Durarara, a series I had a lot if trouble with Tuesday, but ran fine earlier today. So we'll see!

Edit: Watched nine episodes of Durarara in a row, no issues. So that's very good news!

My recommendation is that everyone emails support about this issue every time they experience it. It's becoming quite clear by the lack of response on any of these threads that it's the only way to get through.

It was fine the past couple days until again just now. Can't get through an episode of GinTama without the video freezing every 30 seconds. Even after restarting the app/rebooting PS3 it always freezes at the EXACT same spots. Leads me to believe there's something wrong with CR's streaming servers, or with the video itself.

Great idea but I doubt they will respond even then. The support has been crappy over the last few months. I will still be emailing them every time this happens, hopefully I get an answer. This has literally been happening to every episode on every device I have tried to watch on. I know its not my internet either.

Letting support know is still a whole lot better than just complaining to other people on the board. It helps them and us.

I thought I was the only one experiencing this frustration with the app. App just skips freezing, skiping for secs, or even skips to the next episode. I have tried everything I could. Have reinstalled the app too but the problem is still there. Will this problem ever be fix? It's really annoying.

I started noticing that sometimes the playback would skip ahead 5-6 seconds. Not on every episode, mind you. Then the whole freezing started. Playback would stop, the status bar would appear, screen would go black. If I exited the episode and went back, it would start playback but then it would start again. Now it's not even playing certain episodes or series. Tried watching Toradora ep 4, nothing, just a black screen. Same thing with Persona 4 ep 2, Bladedance of Elementalers, and Magimoji Rurumo. Right now I was able to watch Aldnoah Zero ep 4 without any issues whatsoever. Oh, and this was on both my PS4 and PS4.

What? This thread is about PS3, not PS4. Besides that, they're not the same as both have completely different hardware designs.
