So i bought the first month of premium, I've been billed for it, I then cancelled further payments because i don't want anymore premium after this month, but since then, I've been unable to access any premium stuff for this month, even though i paid for the month already.

Is this how it really works? even if ive already paid i still can't access the remainder of my month if i cancel sub?

Apparently you missed the warning when cancelling that it cancels your membership immediately.

Contact customer service directly via the "Contact Us" link (found at the bottom of any page), explain the situation, and they can restore your remaining membership and disable auto-renewal.

Ah, right, i did see that option, but there were two, one said cancel anime, and one said cancel immediately, so i clicked the other one.
