Hunter's Cove is nestled in the safety of the shadows far from prying eyes of the Hoods. Hunter's Cove offers jobs of all sorts to those looking to make a fare coin. Often the less scruples you have the higher the coin the job may offer. Hunter's cove is also a hideaway of basic thieves, thugs and pirates so anyone entering the cove is best noted to be wary. I mean, after all there is still Honour among thieves, isn't there?

Kael had been walking for some time now. He honestly wasn't paying much to where he was going because he was so lost in thought. He finally shook his head freeing himself from ongoing questioning of what he was feeling and why he kept thinking of Alice. Finally observing his surrounding, he noticed a small cave with a few people in the front of it. As he got closer, he saw two fairly large built who were identical in gum boots, thick dark green pants, long sleeve tan shirt, and gloves hammering down on a large boulder with pick axes. Kael stopped in front of the guys, "Excuse me, but do you by any chance know where Hunter's cove is?" The men stood up and wiped their forehead. Then they looked at each other with devious smirks on their faces and back at Kael. With the pick axes still in their hand they started walking toward Kael, "Now what business would a hood like you have at Hunter's cove?" Kael stood there with a calm expression on his face as the men closed on in him. They were much larger in muscle mass and height compared to Kael. One man grabbed Kael by his neck suspending him in the air, " Your kind isn't welcome here. Only tough guys are allowed not shrimp like you." Kael didn't say a word, he reached up at the man's arm with both hand, and flipped the man over slamming him on the ground causing the man to loose his grip on Kael. When Kael landed on his feet, the laid there trying to catch his breath as the other man attempted to punch Kael. Kael punches the man 5 times in the stomach before the man's punches could make contact. The man fell to his knees and held his stomach as he gasped for air. Kael walked over to the man laying down and places his foot on top of his chest. With a serious expression he looked down at the man, " If you don't tell me what I want to know I'll cave your chest in."

Captain James Hook II

"Well, well what do we have here? Blood on the floor and its just the start of profitable evening" The fair skinned man was dapper in dress from his well polished shoes to the feather plume of his hat. His metal clawed fingers impatiently tapped on the cane in his grasp.
"What can I do for you my boy, you won't find much for brains or manners here. What they lack in merits they normal gain in skill. ""

Kael looked at the well dressed man and down at the man under his foot, " They need to learn not to assumingly judge everyone they see. I'm no hood." He takes his foot off the man. He seemed more upset the fact he was referred to as a hood. Kael was quick tempered at the moment due to his frustration of not understanding his feelings causing him to be short and impatient. He looked at the well dressed man with a blank face and spoke straight to the point, "I'm looking for hunter's cove, a new shirt, and a place to say in short." The brawly men struggled to their feet making their way to the well dressed man. Breathing heavily, "Boss. This one can enter." The other man looked over at the mine and Kael caught sight of the non verbal cues. Using his deductive reasoning, "I see. I assume that over there in Hunter's cove and you guys are suppose to be the guardians?"

(You can name the two meat heads).

Captain James Hook II

Without a warning he gave a quick lash of his cane and the two of the guards scolding them for the careless mistake.

"It's a good thing your heads are so hard Rotgut, Noseless or I might have done some serious damage there."

James moved forward nonchalant like as the walked forward into a cave.

"Close boy but not quiet, it's just the entrance we let those see.."

To the untrained eye it was nothing more then a dirty mining area. One harvested by drawves and continue to be plundered by the greed of men. James walked massive hallways far from the view of the outside he pressed down on his cane on the fifth pebble on the left. A low rumble was made as the stone slab slide open. He stepped inside sure that the boy would follow quickly or be crushing my closing stone. There they stood periciously on over hang of wooden bridges. Rolling waves could be heard and the area was littered in a few ships, market barkers lined the street with black market goods.

"This my boy is Hunters Cove..be wary you might have earned you right be here doesn't mean the natives will be right down hospitable to you."

Kael followed the man closely making it through the stone tab door in one piece. Rotgut and noseless stayed on the other side of the slab continuing their deceptive mining duties to deter lurking hoods. He stood there for a minute on the wooden bridge taking in the scenery coming to terms with the fact he would have to make this his new home for now. After taking a deep breath he looked at the man, " I didn't expect hospitability so that's fine with me. I've never had anything given to me so I don't expect it now." He scanned over the area, " I just want to know if you can point me to a place I could buy shirt is all and....." Kael paused for a minute, " I didn't get you name." Kael still wasn't sure about the man as but it was in his nature to be aware of his surrounding including who he was around.

It's because I didn't give it. You could buy a shirt, though it you manage to take one without getting caught its fair game to you as well. If your interested in jobs " the dapper man rose his cane pointing to rickety tavern near the water. "That's where you'll need to go.."

He continued to walk and with a proud smile he boasted. "It's Hook, Captain Hook."

Captain James Hook II

"There is a dive or to tucked away in the market, the tavern of course, then there the Jolly Roger. But don't expect to get the last one any time soon, only men that have proved loyalty to me have the privilege of staying there. The dives are always open but offer the last amount of protection if Hoods find there ways tromping in here unjustly."

Hook tapped his cane in annoyance making it clear what he felt about the so called law of Fable.

"They think their better then us, they just enjoy playing house and looking down on others from heirs of condemnation.Never the less, the tavern if there is room available you may take it, but prepared to work boy. We don't do Charity work around here. "

Hook continued to walk through the "streets" of Hunter's cove, many parting quickly from his path as he walked. Those that didn't were shoved non-nonchalantly off the docks into the cold water for heeding his pace.

Kael listened to Kael Hook and noticed the reaction of the people as he strolled down the streets. Kael thought to himself, "He must be of high authority here and not a very friendly one at that. Tyrant?" Kael looked at hook, "I understand. Thank you for the insight. I'll take my leave now." Kael had the run down of the place and was ready to explore on his own a little. With that, Kael turned around and started walking the opposite direction of hook back ever so often unnoticeably making sure he wasn't being followed.

(I think the girl who's character is astrid wants to rp as well in hocus pocus. I don't want her left out.)

Since Kael's depart from hook, he had been exploring the town walking here and there managing to get a little insight on who hook was from some of the locals. Kael was cold, hungry, tired, and still shirtless. Kael came across a small pub and looked up at the sign thinking, "Deja vu." Kael walks into the pub to a house full of ruffians, real tough guys spitting, brawling, and carrying on. Kael walked over to the bar and sat down with an exhausted expression. A woman with burnet hair and green eyes walks over to Kael cleaning a beer mug with a rag, " Cheer up hun. It's a lively night here at the cove." Kael looked up at the women with tired eyes, " It's already night again?" The woman giggles with a powerful laugh, not really the soft giggly type but a full and boisterous laugh she had. "You look like hell kid. I'll get ya some grub." The women seemed to be in her early 20's but her personality distinguished her as a women in her early 30's. Kael laid his head on the cold bar table closing his eyes instantly. The women comes back with a plate of delicious and home cooked looking food and a mug of water. She places the plate down kind of aggressively waking up Kael, " Eat up kid, you'll thank me later." Kael picked his head up and devoured the food without a second wasted.

The woman watched Kael while leaning on the counter with both elbows, and her head resting on her hands. He look was a look of amazement as she watched Kael devour the food. When he was done she smiled, "You feel better now hun?" Kael looked up at the women with his blue eyes and a sheepish smile, "Heh, yeah. Thank you." The women sat up and went to cleaning the bar with out a towel, " What's your name kid and what brings you here?" Kael bowed his head in respect. He always seemed to be more respectful around women, "My name is Kael and I'm not from around here. I'm trying to find a place to stay around here. I was told of hunter's cove and was hoping to find hunters.." Kael looks around the place, " But there doesn't seem to be hunters here...Why is it called hunter's cove?" The lady laughed out loud and hit Kael in the arm, " For the obvious reason, to keep hoods away. We just tacted hunter on there to keep the hood's from being suspicious and allow traveler to venture here. Everyone around here knows this is the cove, home of thugs, thieves, no good aristocrats, and all those that aren't accepted by the public." The woman throws the rag over her shoulder, " I'm brandy and this here is my pub. You can come here to take a load off." Brandy winks her eye at Kael as she tends to the others. Kael was feeling a lot better having eaten and rested, but he still had that uncomfortable feeling in his gut that was beginning to show on his face. While brandy was busy, he thought about what Brandy said and what his next move was going to be. After that, he started thinking if Alice was okay and what she was doing.

Captain James Hook II

After making sure his precious Jolly Roger was free from belige rats, Hook entered the tavern. He comfortable took his usualy spot at the bar.

"Scotch, if you please Brandy."

Hook didn't even flinch when burly men roughly brushed at the father in his hat.

Well well what do we have here, so a fine looking gentlemen.. It's occurs to me someone of your wealth could afford to buys us several drinks or too. It's clear that you would be so generous.."

Hook didn't move his only gave a half glance to his right where the men stood.

Would you kindly stand downwind so your stench doesn't ruin my evening drink."

I want to rip his face of and wear it Tweedle Dee.."

The older brother patted his younger brother on his stockily built chest.

Easy, Tweedle Dum, we give him a chance to apologize then if he doesn't we rip his face off."

The tavern become silent with tension, making the weight of air almost unbearably.

Zachary lifted his eyes from the cards he held in his hands to see two men starting trouble with, ("Oh god, are they stupid?"), Hook himself. The pipe on between his lips tilted upward in amusement as Zachary found the tension more entertaining than his game of cards and he hoped for fighting to break out so that it may distract the other players from the fact that Zach was losing. Who knows, maybe if things got out of hand, he'd join in the blitz himself.
[ lol, just ignore zach for now, he's just a bystander. ]

Kael shook his head trying to rid the thoughts and looked over to his side to see what all the commotion was about. Brandy brought Hook the scotch he requested, " Fine seeing you here Hook." She went on to her tasks of cleaning and managing the bar listening to what was going on between the men and Hook. Kael continued watching while sipping on his water. As soon as the pub got quiet, Brandy while cleaning a mug with a rag spoke to the men with a smirk and raised eyebrow, "Look, I don't know if you're new, stupid or drunk, but folks around here don't take it to kindly when you disrespect the boss. Take a looksy." Kael looked around at the bar and he could see the majority of men readying their weapons and sharpening their knives. Brandy put the mug down and leaned on the bar counter, "I best you boys excuse yourself and come back when you get some sense."
