Aoi Orbe from Myself; Yourself

I chose her only because she's the only bookworm I could think of and that she is very cute.

Rupert Giles of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Smart, witty, adorkable, dependable, wise, and is a "badass bookworm" who you don't want to infuriate. He's Buffy's mentor who ends up filling in the role of a father figure in her crazy life. It's hard not to get attached to him. Plus, his accent is nice, and he's a silver fox. Kudos to the actor and his impeccable performance, too.

I'm currently watching the series, and am about to finish up season two.

EDIT:

Finished the season.

For anime, Sheska from Fullmetal Alchemist:

For non-anime, Belle from Beauty and the Beast and Once Upon A Time:

Terrible GIF, I know, but that's how it turned out when I saved it. If someone can fix, would be greatly appreciated.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya... and other assorted anime, manga, lite novels, etc....

Being that she is the A.I. interface (less is more) she knows just about everything anyway ... I like to imagine that she reads to sample the thought processes of us humans.
I also have a thing for girls with short hair and glasses.

Giving her emotions for a short while was a stroke of brilliance.

Yomiko Readman from Read or Die.

She works for the British Library Special Operations Divison as a field agent figthing book related crimes and terrorism. Also on her spare time she's a substitute teacher
.

Her name also plays on her nature as a bibliophile. "To read" in Japanese is pronounce yomu. Also the obivious one Yomiko READMAN To top it of Yomiko is one bonoffee cutie in glasses

Chizuru Akaba from Seitokai no Ichizon. She's definitely not the biggest bibliophile, but screw it. She can be really cute and she's sadistic. What more could you possibly want?

Ami Mizuno/Sailor Mercury (Sailor Moon). She's more than a bibliophile, but she's a study fiend for sure. Anyone who has been a nose-to-the-grindstone kind of student can relate to her dilemma in the episode where she worried that her entire identity was centered upon studying.
