I was watching this anime, 'Hayate no Gotoku' and there was a narrator who (tried to sound like some kinda of James Bond or Indiana Jones) spoke in every episode...heck, he even turned out to be the "murderer" in one filler episode and the characters were refering to him as "the voice in the sky".
I found the constant badgering from this "voice in the sky" very annoying all throughout the series. not only in Hayate no Gotoku but many other anime shows have "narrators" as well who constantly keep blabering when infact no one cares about what they say.

That was just my opinion on all those "voice(s) in the sky", does anyone here actually find the narrators entertaining? if so then please feel free to tell me why on earth are they entertaining and what show are they from =/

well there aren't really a lot of narrators in anime, and narrators are only there in the beginning of the ep to fill you in on what happened, well in hayate no gotuku's place the narrator rocks!!

Occasionally he's annoying, but Hayate no Gotoku is probably the only Narrator thats useful. I Don't remember any other animes with Narrators though...Must be my lack of aninformation. Honestly though, I find Narrators worthless, I prefer watching the main characters speak with their own words rather than watching someone jump the gun needlessly.

I actually like the Narrator in Hayate no Gotoku.... ^_^;;;

The only other series I can remember that actually has something even close to a narrator is Kodomo no Omocha (Kodocha), and Babbit (the narrator) only appears in the anime. BUT, I love him all the same. *Hugs Plushie*
