A human being? Do you honestly still believe in labeling things at the age of 30? My friend you need to grow up lol

I think that when people are making thousands on shirts that reference Mario, The Big Bang Theory is a top-rated sitcom, and a site that charges subscription fees to stream Japanese cartoons is a viable business model, the term "geek" has progressed well beyond just a label.

I think you're convinced that you can live in a social vacuum your whole life, and that therefore you need to grow up. Or maybe you're a self-hating geek.

Seriously do you think before you type or are you just running on aggravation from that fact that people can't stand you shoving your opinions down their throats lol? pshh your one funny 30 year old childish arguments and yet even more assumptions your a lost cause that I can't help or debate with unfortunately I'll leave the floor to another brave soul who's willing to speak to a rock

At least I can spell.

But seriously though, if you can do something to make the anime fandom a better place, then why wouldn't you?

How a woman is dressed is not an invitation to be touched, sexually harassed, or raped. If a woman wanted to walk naked, sure she'd be looked at, but she should not expect to be touched by some random man. This is a matter of boundaries and respect for others that obviously the people who assault these women don't have.

You are obvously right it is not an invitation and certainly should not happen.
However were is the respect for the people around you who get affected by the way you dress?

I'm not really sure what you mean. These women are dressing as characters from shows in an environment where this is normal. You're telling me that these women have to give in and cover them selves up because there are people out there that won't respect them? We should accommodate the perverts and make the women cover up as if it's their fault? I don't think so.

So who would these perverts grope leer at if they would not get baited?
Maybe they got lured into this behavior cause of the women not respecting there surroundings.

I believe everyone has the right to dress as they want and i pointed out that groping certainly is off limits but anything like leering should not come as surprise.

Her point and mine is that pervs will leer at everyone and everything as long as we provide them a space where they can perv without consequences.

Instead of criticizing what the cosplayers are wearing, how about we focus more on the creeps that are committing a crime.

It can't be help some conventions do have a policy for Cosplayers on what they are allowed to wear. I volunteer for one of them I remember a young girl around 15 was dressing up as Luffy from One Piece she had a open vest, no shirt, bare chest, lucky vest cover over her boobs they were about to pop out. I felt uncomfortable telling her to change so I had to ask a female volunteer to tell her to change, she did that.

Its nothing personal we get complaints from convention goers who are parents who feel some of the cosplayers tend to dress up in revealing outfits mostly its female cosplayers and not males for some reason.

You are in a bar you put money on your table in plain sight and leave it unattended someone steals it.
Now you catch him call the police what will happen?
You will get into trouble for leading people to commit a crime.
How is women dressing like very slutty character any different now?

Don't give in to the cynicism and apathy that allows what's wrong with the world to continue.

Where the hell do you live that you would actually get in trouble for getting your money back?

In my experience, the cops wouldn't care one way or another because you basically did their job (and got more results).

I should point out that in most cases leaving unattended money in plain sight on your table is called "leaving a tip". The law does generally frown on stealing those.

If the person would have stolen your wallet out of your pocket it would be as simple as you said but by placing money unattended on a table its you who is leading people on.

The person taking the money might never have stolen anything in his live if you wouldn't have lured him.

The same might be true for some of the perverts.

I just want to make sure i am not misunderstood i personal think perverts harassing women are the worst and if it would happen next to me i would not hesitate to make that clear to perverts.

But you can not put all the blame on them if they are lead on by the women.

just ask yourself where would a pervert normally have to go to see women dressed like that?

A strip club maybe a whore house....both places where leering and more is wanted.
