It's not only in the videos when they show ads anymore. It's everywhere on CR. If I click on my profile, 2-3 ads pop up and it's making everything much harder. Earlier today when I was logged on the only time they would pop up would be in videos and sometimes on the homepage. Is it like this for anyone else?
EDIT: And it's only on CR, not anywhere else....

Sounds like you caught some adware. Get Malwarebytes or something like that. You should be fine.

I think it's Crunchyroll's way of saying that you've seen enough free videos, and now it's time for you to be a premium member.

You got some malware/adware :P.. Download something free and get rid of it.. Also clear your cookies/cache and internet history.. If that doesn't work you could always join the darkside and subscribe ^_^

Definitely sounds like an adware problem. Since I think you've received some good answers and because it boils down to a personal help thread (which aren't allowed in the discussion forums), I'm closing this now.

In the future if you encounter a problem you believe to be a CR site issue, you can start a thread in the Help section of the forums, such as Site Support / Minor Questions. In this case since you didn't realize this wasn't something Crunchy was doing, it would have been appropriate to post there.

Better run a scan with AdwCleaner, it helped me a lot once, check your browser extensions too, I'd recommend to remove everything you don't use, like ahmazein just said there're many good free anti-virus like Avast which has a very nice browser cleanup funciton, it's very useful and automatically detects unwanted toolbars and dangerous extensions. Did you install any software recently? many sites like softonic bloated their downloads with adware and other PUPs, whenever you need to download anything, is better if you make sure the download source is a good one (I always use sourceforge but even there sometimes there's adware, depends what you're downloading, each project is different).
