Got around to watching this finally, seems pretty nice, and I usually don't like Magical girl shows.

The flower-motif outfits get me tho, so that helps. ><

~~~
This has to be one of the few shows where one of the lead characters is physically disabled, and stays that way, though. It makes for an interesting touch.
That was so cool!!!!
Love the action and the transformation scenes! Well, I could have done without certain aspects of Togo's transformation, but that sort of thing is par for the course I guess. I personally felt like everything seemed sort of rushed for some reason, but maybe that's just me. Despite that feeling, I still found both episodes to be extremely compelling. They drew me in really quickly and i'm already hooked.
The monsters are kind of creepy to me though. I don't know why, but those kinds of designs slightly disturb me. Sort of like those things in Noein or RahXephon.
Anyway, this is very different from what I thought it would be. I expected CGDCT with puppet chuunibyou fantasies, and instead I get action packed magical girls. I'm definitely not complaining though. This show looks like it could be amazing!
I am slightly saddened by the lack of dedicated CGDCT SoL shows this season, but that's neither here nor there.
Hm, I'm not as into it as some people are, at least not so far. All the magical girl stuff just seems to go in a rather generic direction and I have personally seen enough magical girl shows for me to not really get excited over a new one. Still, the characters seem rather likeable an dit has a very distinct art style which I can really appreciate. Plus it didn't give us a cute mascot that gives our heroines their super powers, which is progress, I guess. I too am getting the Madoka feeling by the way. The similarities are just too plenty to count. From the weird abstract art style to the insecurities dragging the characters down to there being a mistery behind why these things are even happening which they haven't even begun to explain. A lot of the show is still shrouded in mistery. I wouldn't be suprised if this took a dark turn. Let's see what happens, I'll keep watching for the moment.
Well this was definately a bit of a surprise out of nowhere. Seemingly one thing, then quickly turns into something else. A bit rare to see a wheelchair bound main character.
Getting a sort of Madoka feel of this.. and the way the monsters were described.. A bit of Evangelion as well.
Should be fun to see where this goes
Seeming as Takahro is the creator I'm hoping for it to get a dark twist and maybe a lot of death.
I decided to give this anime a shot not knowing anything about it. I thought it would be a full on slice of life like all it was tagged for on MAL and anichart. The anime seems good, really enjoyed the art style and the magical girl moments. It gives me Madoka vibes but I doubt it can be comparable. I still think it's pretty decent on its own. I liked the fact that we had a wheel chair character and she actually showed fear to embrace her destiny. I'm a bit disappointed with the eagerness of the main orange haired girl, and full on leadership of the club president (just seems too perfect to me) and I hope the little sister has better character development other than just being a follower (cute at first but gets old fast). Good start but I hope it addresses some of its flaws in the later episodes.
Episode 3
And the club gains one more hero, and she's a tsundere who thinks that her whole life is all about being a gym rat. But there's a lot more to life than what Karin is doing. So the clubmates are doing whatever it took to get her to enjoy life. And that means a surprise birthday party as Karin is not even aware of her own birthday. That was a pretty nice introduction to Karin, the hero and her superiority complex there. It figures that this group needs a tsundere, and here she is. All great stuff that was.
Episode 3
Well, they got a new member. Cute. The latest episode felt a lot more like a slice off life. Happy Birthday to Karin too. I think her personality is actually fitting for this show too.
We'll probably get more action later on in that other world again.
Not sure if this is actually light hearted or just lulling me into a false sense of security before killing people. It IS the Akame ga Kill guy after all That death tarot card better not be the most blatant death flag ever lol
Despite my fears though this is cute so far.
That death card has me verrryy worried Especially since they just introduced a brand new character. A like-able one at that based on my standards. (I happen to have a thing for tsunderes)
Hey, I'm new here, and I was watching this, hearing it was similar to Madoka Magica, which seems to be well established
I haven't seen episode 3 yet, and will edit this when I do, I was researching "shinju" and this is what I found...
hmmm not quite the episode 3 i was expecting, also seems i was off the mark expecting the flowers level ups to have some dark undertone
maybe the shoe will drop next episode.
i'm hesitant to get attached to any characters except Yuuki yet
So, a new character was introduced and what do you know, she actually happens to be an experienced arrogant tsundere badass. And since we all watched Madoka Magica, we know what happens to those. By which I mean that there will be lots of yuri fan fiction for here, what else did you think I was referencing?
Still can't read this show. It's setting itself up for a rather dark twist, but it's not really clear if it will take this direction quite yet. Those expectations may as well just be due to the fact that we have all seen Madoka, therefore expecting something like this to happen in any mahou shoujo that looks unconventional and this is just another slice of life mahou shoujo show, albeit a good one. I'll keep watching for the moment, it's decently entertaining so far.
