Yeah I can, and I'm quite familiar with the position due to my prayers being made on this position 1/3 of the time.

For about half an hour, then it become progressively more uncomfortable and no amount of weight shifting or moving toes seems help. At least for me. Though I don't really have occasion to do it very often, I tried when I saw this post.

I can do it for a good hour before I start getting restless. Helps if there's a carpet or cushion though.

I have a question for those who are comfortable with seiza. Are your shins contacting the ground helping to distribute weight? Or are your shins slightly arched above the ground and the majority of the pressure still on your feet? Cause all the pressure is on my feet and it hurts like a mofo after a couple minutes.

Try sitting with your legs splayed out behind you. I've seen it so often in anime I thought it would be natural to just sit like that, but then I tried and almost broke my hip.
