Yes, but my legs turn numb after an hour or so.

Yes, but not for very long.

If you want to crank the difficulty up, try sitting in tatehiza (one leg in seiza, the other like you were sitting cross-legged with your sole tucked into your knee). GIS tatehiza if that doesn't make sense.

Really? I sit like that all the time, though I prefer to bend my right leg inward.

Only for about an hour so far :(
The more I sit in seiza, however, the longer I'm able to sit comfortably that way, so I've been working on it x3

Yeah! But not for extended periods of times. I can do it for a good hour or so but my entire lower half of my body will fall asleep any second after that.

That's impressive flexibility. One leg is fine, but when I try to do both legs, with my thighs and butt flat against the ground, it feels like bad, irreversible things are going to happen.

For about an hour, give or take. I actually like to from time to time. It makes my legs feel more energized versus sitting on my butt.

Yes, it hurts after a while but if you just bear it then the pain goes away a bit, it comes back later but at that point it usually hurts more to move than to stay sitting.

Here's another; can you squat with your heels touching the ground? I couldn't, but after a couple months of practice my tendons stretched a bit and now I can.

As to the above picture of the 'splayed leg seiza' I think that it's way more painful.
