Just Finished the True End of Heaven's Feel

Wow, much much better! I felt like I was robbed with the normal ending, this ending was so much better. God damn.

Anyways, now it's time for tons of screenshots and my reactions to some of the events:

The True End is the best end. All the conflicts are resolved and we get to see the conclusion to all the characters. Heaven's Feel gets a 10/10. That was quite the ride.

So this is all my scores for each route:

Fate - 9/10
UBW - 10/10
Heaven's Feel - 10/10

Overall this VN is a masterpiece. No complaints at all really. I wish ufotable the best of luck because this series is pure gold and will be hard to live up to.

I'm just wondering, if you had to decide, Unlimited Blade Works or Heaven's Feel? It's okay if you choose both.

Damn that's a tough one. I loved Heaven's Feel because it revealed a lot of truths and it's ending was phenomenal, but I think UBW might be a bit better in my book because we get to see a lot of action and development from all the servants and there's more Saber in UBW as well.

So I prefer UBW just slightly over HF.

Ah, thanks for your response. But yeah, I agree that UBW was slightly better than Heaven's Feel. Although Heaven's Feel is what I presume to be the most mature and epic of all three routes, I felt that UBW's story was hands-down amazing. Besides, UBW Shirou > HF Shirou. Now I'm guessing Saber is your favorite servant, right?

Ya definitely, that's pretty much how I feel. And I liked both UBW Shirou and HF Shirou equally, they were both badass and strong.

And Saber I think is everyone's favorite, I mean it's hard to not love Saber, but my favorite servant is Lancer. In F/Z, Lancer was also my favorite servant as well. I love the Lancers.

It must suck how the Lancers always have E luck. Have you seen Carnival Phantasm yet? Man, that shit is hilarious.
But I'll have to say that Archer is my favorite servant. Once you find about his motivations and struggles he went through following his ideals, you definitely feel for him. Loved the development he got from UBW. I felt this was his most epic and impacting line of all:

"I was not wrong."

-Archer

Archer is pretty awesome for sure. He's one of my favs as well, but Lancer is still my top favorite.

And I have not seen Carnival Phantasm yet. I hear it's great, but I would like to watch Tsukihime before watching it to get a little background on those characters.

You mean the anime or playing the visual novel? Oh god, I implied the Tsukihime anime existed. Crap.
Whatever anyone says, the Tsukihime anime DOES NOT EXIST.
But yeah, the visual novel is more dramatic than F/SN, although not as entertaining, personally.

I've already heard the horror stories of the Tsukihime anime, but I don't really care. I just want to watch it to get an idea of the story and characters. That's it.

Besides, a new VN for it is coming out this year or next year, I believe, so hopefully eventually we'll get an english translation.

I'd rather just watch Carnival Phantasm straight on. You'll get a better idea of the characters as said above me.

Also if any VN readers haven't seen the Realu Nua opening for Heaven's Feel give it a shot (warning to people that haven't read the VN, there's tons of spoilers!)

Damn for real? I still think I'm going to watch the anime, no matter how bad it is.

Why is this going to be a movie? It didn't work with UBW and this route is even longer. And with thier over the top animation I'm sure ufotable has enough money to make a series out of this

Heaven's Feel can truly shine as a series of movies, far more than as a television show.

As a movie, ufo won't be bound by broadcast laws and censorship, which is definitely necessary for this route. The slow pacing of Heaven's Feel can also be greatly improved upon in this format, and it has the potential to look better than any television show. Ufo's already said they want to make it the most visually-impressive production they've ever worked on.

If it's just one movie, HF probably wouldn't work. More than one would pretty much ensure no problems on that front.

I'll also add in the fact that one of Ufotables best works is a 8 movie series called Kara No Kyoukai, so I have very little doubt that Heaven's Feel will get the same special treatment. Especially since they have more anime movie/Ova projects than they have anime series, and the fact that they would only need 3-4 movies to cover Heaven's Feel. I find it they decided to stick to their strong points and go with that option.
