One of the easiest ways of browsing titles (anime, manga, drama, whatever,) is to see what is currently popular or highly rated. Unfortunately, CR only seems to apply this method of browsing when looking at all of its titles, but not when browsing specific genres, seasons or by simulcast. This was suggested at least a year ago, and Bjaker claimed that it was something which was being worked on (http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-793273/sort-by-popularity, and again http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-831079/suggestion#45144435, another http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-828317/organize-by-number-of-ratings#44931389,) but nothing has come of it. It seems that the idea was abandoned entirely because it would be outrageous for something like this to take over a year to develop. My question is, why? It is something which has been repeatedly requested, and would be very beneficial to customers.

It may very well still be a feature that they are looking at implementing, but has been placed on the back burner in order for the developers to focus on other improvements, such as HD for apps and a better version of the Flash player.
