There is more than one show like this, I don't know specifics, but it probably has to do with someone else (often Funi) having NA rights and CR just gets the rest. Often this means that the show won't even have english subtitles, which might be a part of the said rights. It is available in the following places: Europe (excluding UK and Ireland), the Middle East, and North Africa.

From the announcement:

BARAKAMON will be available for Crunchyroll members starting Saturday, July 5, at 12:00 Pacific Time in the following territories: Europe (excluding UK and Ireland), the Middle East, and North Africa.

It isn't the only series that isn't available in the US. There are at least two others this season, several last season, and one in winter. (The one in winter was the first).

With one exception, all have been series that have been licensed by Funimation here in the US (and Canada).

I didn't even realize this was happening. I mean, I'm glad SOMEONE is still getting to see these series. I definitely don't want stuff removed just because I can't get it here in NA, but, it still makes me sad nonetheless.

Do you happen to have a list or know which shows are also like this? I see you've mentioned others, I just would like to have a list going forward. That way I can cross-reference with Hulu.

Summer 2014:

Barakamon
Black Butler: Book of Circus
Shonen Hollywood
Tokyo ESP

Black Butler: Book of Circus is also available at Daisuki, even for those in the US and Canada.

Spring 2014:

Broken Blade TV (this was the one exception I mentioned, as it wasn't a Funimation license)
Daimidaler
Ping Pong
Riddle Story of the Devil
selector infected WIXOSS

You can check the full details of where these were available in the "Crunchyroll simulcasts" section of the first message in this forum:

Winter 2014:
