Explain your opinion in great detail. List the title of the anime series.

These are anime shows you found confusing and yet you strangely enjoyed them. You might have somewhat of an idea of what it's about or you do not at all, though it has not stopped you from loving the anime. Why is that?

Bonus Questions:

1) Are there any complex and thought provoking anime shows you enjoy?

2) Is there an anime series that you know that is NOT suited for everyone's taste?

Enjoy!!!!

I guess I would say Texhnolyze, to all the questions.

There's so many things going on in that anime that it's hard for me to understand every single little thing. It's definitely not an anime that everyone would enjoy, because it's a really slow series and very dark.

I seen the anime years ago and I know where you're getting at. I found it cool and different even though I did not understand what is going on.

Strange.

At some points in nge I literally had no idea what was going on. I still enjoyed the series though.

Humanity Has Declined gave me that impression.. At least, I think it did. I watched it quite a while ago lol

EDIT - Also, Le Chevalier d'Eon to an extent. I liked it, but didn't really care for it that much. I was so confused at certain parts of the story that it became somewhat frustrating lol

I did enjoy it overall though.

Same, but I love anime like that, because it makes you sit down and think about it, you know?

qualeshia3, you should reformat your OP with (header)(/header) using brackets instead of parentheses, to replace those lines.

It looks like this:

Looks good.

As for confusing things: Eden of the East. Dang. I stopped watching halfway through because I had no idea what was happening at that point. I could tell it's well-made when I was watching it, but that's just one of those shows that you have to watch by itself and nothing else until you're done. I'll get back to it one of these days.

Serial Experiments Lain to all questions

Editing: Forgot to describe in detail

I tried to follow the plot and everything, but it lost me at episode 9. I've followed shows like Ergo Proxy with no problem, but this anime was the one that got me. I loved this show, though, and even though I only had a vague idea of what was happening episode 9 onwards, the atmosphere was great and I just loved it even with a vague view of the events.

I'd say that parts of Henneko: The 'Hentai' Prince and the Stoney Cat were a bit baffling, but it was enjoyable to see them play out...
