For this post, I am considering anime that has a significant fanbase but a rather unpopular recommendation status.

You know. Anime without a bandwagon traveling to every corner of the internet about how good it is.

Now, my lame system of judging how big the fanbase of an anime is, is by checking how many views it's most watched video on youtube has (I know, very lame.)

As an extra, I would also like that you post anime that it's really small fanbase suprises you.

For me, I found that Nichijou, Shakugan no Shana and Claymore have quite a following (using my system) and they tend to be barely recommended in comparison to popular shows.

As an extra, the anime fanbase that suprises me would be for Hyouka and Hayate no Gotoku.

This is basically about recommending those anime that no one mentions barely anything about. So as I have mentioned mine, I would like for you to mention yours. (and I will probably check it out ).

Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex

Honestly is some of the best cyberpunk shows that I seen and has started with the original movie since the 1990s and yet I don't hear a lot of people now a days talking about it or even comparing to other shows of the same genre.
