PRINCESS VIVIENNE

At the sight of the approaching Bo Zhi, Luz disappeared and his entity capped intself into the stone of Vivienne's bracelet so it wouldn't seem like he was third wheeling. Luz hated third wheeling.

Vivienne turned around to see the tall man standing before her. Stopping in her tracks, she studied him. How does he know my name? She looked to his hand reluctantly. The aura of death and darkness practically oozed off of it. That's when she looked him in his eye, hesitantly putting her hand in his. "Okay, Bo Zhi.. first, I want to know your business here. I've never seen you." She fixed her grey eyes on his, resting her other hand on his shoulder before looking down at her feet. Her eye-lashes were long, almost feather like. Looking back up, they looked almost like they could blow someone away.

*Bo gently grabbed her hand, watching observing every detail of her body and all the items she had on. He could sense something mystic about her stone. He then handed his cane to a nearby guard, winking at him as the guard took the cane. Bo then placed his left hand on the right side of her waistline.*

I'm here to meet the king, after all, I have to thank him for the world of opportunity he gave to all of us human's. I also wanted to meet the other nobles and people of class. See if I can make some connections for my trade. But I can not lie, since I've looked into your eyes, I've become, addicted to them.

*As Bo spoke the final words of his sentence, he again stared into her gray eyes. Everything about this young lady was pristine and glamorous. She was truly fit for royalty. Let's see if the stone would give off increase in mystic activity as he became bold with his words.*

---The King's Banquet: Meetings and Sightings---

OOC: It's lright, technical difficulties tend to happen to us at the worst of times.

IC: He smiled softly and bowed his head, "I thank you for the kind gesture, Prince Varius."

Aldaris raised a brow in intrigue before he inquired, "Oh, what plan do you have, little prince?" He could feel something stirring his mind. An intriguing and cunning plan was forming. Something that pragmatic and artful would delight him to no end.

His gaze then turned to the princess and the little merchant. He could feel power rolling off them, especially to the princess' bracelet. Trouble might be coming soon, and he and his companions better be prepared. Unless, of course, he read too much on the situation.

Miranda snapped all her attention back to the knight, startled by his observation. She thought she was doing well concealing her interest in the wicked man. She even made sure a mere soldier wouldn't notice it. But the moment the armored man walked in the room, she became anxious. It was possible that she let her guard slip without knowledge.

"N-No," she replied, panicking. Since the knight believed she was just a child, she'd use that to her advantage and play the role of a child. "That man makes just me uncomfortable...He's terrifying." She shifted in her spot, looking at the ground and hoping she'd come off as a nervous wreck. She could not blow her cover.

*Mauricio began to laugh as she began to act nervous. He could tell she was pretending, not because she was doing a bad job. She was doing a very good job, it was just she came off as a very serious woman until he mentioned the other man. He would play along, the man must've been a very close person to her in the past.*

You think he's terrifying? Why don't we introduce ourselves to him and the Princess? That way, you could face your fears head on.

Lord Aldaris now interested in what the young prince have to say, and it will be delightful...Prince Varius thinks about the plans and he speaks to elaborate to the merchant lord.."I'll suggest a number of plans, the first is the increasing number of elite guards within our trading caravans; but we must put the specific number of guards to equal caravans~ for example, the larger our caravans, the larger guards instead..we also have to put a number of mages if in case of you know....enemies trying to raid our caravans with magic.."

the prince pause a moment to sip his wine before continues the plans; '' The second plan is to search new trade routes; i suggest by looking new routes to the eastern region will gain a benefit for both of us.." then Avynil the adviser cuts in to join the conversation.."As you see, Lord Aldaris, the Principality has already owned a number of private farmlands about 5,000 acres and some other wild meadows at the far part of the Eastern Region.."

the prince grins at his adviser and then goes back to Aldaris, "About you mentioning of dividing 50-50 thing and that upstart little merchant, how about this proposal; i'll rent you my farmlands in the East so you can sell it's products, an exchange for you to rent me a trading post at the coastal land of your province in the South so i'll have my own trade there...it's like having a joint investment i might say..isn't that right Avynil?.." the adviser nods with a smile..

there are more plans to be said by the prince, but he must give this early plans first for this merchant lord to consider..

PRINCESS VIVIENNE

Vivienne looked away as she moved effortlessly on her feet, her sleek dress flowing and giving the illusion of gliding. "Addicted..." She repeated him, before looking back into his own eyes. "Tell me, when you look at me," Her voice was like velvet, low and smooth. "And you look into these.. addicting eyes, do you see the naïvety you see in the others?" She asked.

*Bo gave her a very assertive smirk as spoke to him, asking him such an intriguing question. He matched and fallowed all her moves with equal precision.*

Not at all, when I look into your eyes, I can see the awareness you have. That leeriness gives you a thirst for the unknown.

*He slowly leaned his head towards the right side of her head and began to whisper in a enticing manner.*

I can show you the secrets of this world you have yet to experienced.

○ cataleya scarlette

Looking around the room, Cataleya's attention couldn't stay in one place until her eyes narrowed and zoned in on Prince Varius Baralin Strallvaniaof the North and his Knight, Lord Aldaris Za'firo Multhaz al-Kehth of the South and his two female companions , and their most recent meet-and-greet: the male that had the attention of the whole room when he walked in. Who was he? Surely he wasn't a Lord nor a Prince, could he? If he was, she would have known, and he was an unrecognized face in a room full of others she had grown to recognize through pictures. That crosses out any Royals or Lords. So, he was a civilian then? Judging by his apparels it looked to be from the East. Cataleya glanced at his wardrobe, quite flashy, if she must say, however, something piqued her interest when she noticed him pointing at Asraen's very own Princess: Princess Vivienne Swan. Something about him looking at her in such a way made shivers crawl down her spine and goosebumps appear on her arms. Something about the man with the cane was not right and she had to figure it out before something happened. But, even more so, the Princess didn't see to have a slight bit of interest in the male.

However, Cataleya felt eyes on her as she used her peripheral vision to glance at whoever had glanced her way. Seeing that it was in fact the Crusader Knights of the Goddess who had been looking around and including the woman that had been with him. Cataleya found it a little irritating to know that there were two people here she barely recognize which bothered her to no end. Now, the Crusader Knights of the Goddess seemed familiar. . .what was his name again? Ah, that's right Mauricio Cortez. If she remembered correctly, he's quite famous through the Central City, yet. . she never fully formally introduced herself to him nor met him before.

However, before she knew it, she had been too lost in thought that she had barely taken notice that the princess had left and returned, only for her to see the unknown male walking straight towards her. Blinking, Cataleya stayed still as she took mental notes of him waving at Princess Vivienne. For some odd reason, she felt the need to keep him away from the princess, feeling slight ill-intention towards her. Soon enough, the Princess passed by them without a glance as she felt the temperature of the air lowering, feeling the temperature a little chilly. What was this? It couldn't have been Princess Vivienne's doing could it? How can the temperature change from one to the next so quickly? Unless . . there was another being here that she couldn't see. . . was it. . spirits. . ghost? Regardless of what it was, Cataleya had to shrug it off to prepare for herself for an encounter with a man she barely knew and recognize which sent warning bells to her head. However, before she knew it, the man went in the opposite direction and was now in fact, dancing with the Princess, herself.

Her eyes widened as she blinked in slight surprise, only to fill in the pit of her stomach that something may or may not happen. Was this what she was waiting for to happen? Or was she just overly concerned about the Princess? Where were the guards? Looking around the room, Cataleya couldn't help but feel something eventful was going to happen soon and she should prepare herself for it. Finding herself a little parch, Cataleya made it towards the table filled with food where Mauricio Cortez and the unknown woman were. However, she passed them giving them a small smile as she made her way to get some water. Filling her plastic cup with water, Cataleya took her time as she sipped the water, allowing the liquid to suppress the dryness in her throat.

*As Mauricio finished his sentence to Miranda, Lady Cataleya pass by them with a smile. She was drinking a bit of water. Since she was just about next to them, he decided to call her to join them. He also wanted to know how Slane "Skillshot" Simmons was doing. The man was picking jobs required him to work with the 3rd militia despite not even being part of it. Triple S just loved showing off his marksmanship and his blink dog to the 3rd militia while making fun of them for not having as much freedom as him. This was because many of the 3rd's members used to be part of the Adventurers guild. He began to wave at Lady Cataleya.*

Hey Cataleya, how are you this evening? Enjoying your self I hope? You do look a little pale.

---The King's Banquet---

Aldaris mulled over the prince's proposal. It was sound in a way that both would still benefit from the deal. Access to trade routes and increased protection to the caravans were always a plus; but to be frank, he had adopted the elite guard-mage combination for caravans for some time now, so he cannot be found wanting in protection. New routes would be beneficial, especially to the East where his company's influence is minimal at best. Land would be beneficial, maybe he could set up an outpost, better yet a Merchant House would be a great boon, to better spread his influence. Also giving him access to one of the port-cities would draw in investment and profit for his company due to the tax laws and policies he personally penned and signed with the local leaders. He needs to grab the best deal as possible, also it has to be fair for his friend, after all; unlike his other associates who he practically screwed over for their craven ways. "An interesting proposal, Prince Varius. Your offer holds both merits and demerits that needs to be thought through. I shall think about it and maybe I will accept or offer an alternative to your offer. But first..."

Aldaris trailed off as he whispered a few instructions to his companions. The two nodded before they broke off and mingled with the crowd, picking up secrets, taking note special things in their surroundings, and building a veritable pool of blackmail material against these lords and royals. He then turned to Prince Varius and bowed his head before saying, "Excuse me for the moment, my friend, but it appears I am mandated by the heavens and the King to block a lord's advances to the fair princess."

After saying those words, he made his way to the princess and the little merchant. He saw the little merchant, Bo Zhi, lean in close to the princess. He quickly approached the pair and spoke in a loud boisterous voice, "Bo! My good friend, who is this lovely maiden by your side?" He then turned to the Princess Vivienne before he smiled charmingly, "My lady, you must be an angel of the divines! Your beauty radiates like the brightest sun. May I know the name of this goddess before me?"

The prince watched his lord friend as he goes to Princess Vivienne and tries to greet her and of course, to distract the little merchant, Bo Zhi..Prince Varius chuckles, he thought that there will be a little 'rivalry' will come up.."mandate by the heavens, he say?.." the prince whispers silently in a huff..Acteon however looks at his master with curiosity, "my prince, what's wrong...?"

Varius glance at his loyal Knight Lord and commander, " do you think that our clan survived just because our fealty to the King will give peace and rest to the spirits of our ancestors?..'' Avynil the adviser shakes his head slowly in disbelief, he'd also heard that.."Please my lord, please don't say that..''

Varius shakes his head.."my late father was a devout worshiper to the Father of Darkness, and his loyalty to the King has no bounds even gave his life to the Royal Court..but how he was treated back then, Avynil..?" the prince suddenly raise anger and hatred..

the old adviser gulps "my prince.." Varius sternness cuts in with a little higher voice.."tell me Avynil.." the Adviser, even the commander look down in silence..then Prince grins evilly.."look at those lords around you..their whispering agendas are everywhere..suspicious plots ran to their snobbish mouths..if i had my hands on those backstabbing traitors, i will raise an army and crush them with no mercy.." gritted the prince. His hatred had spun into a new level.

○ cataleya scarlette

As Cataleya was quenching her thirst, she heard her name being called. Looking up from the table and from the cold water in her hands, Cataleya searched for the person who called her by her first name. When was the last time she had heard her name being called in such a friendly way? She hadn't even known someone besides her own relatives and perhaps the Higher-Ups in the Militia knew of it. But, for a Crusader of the Knight to have known, was it because they too had their own profiles of each member of their city? Cataleya was never good with foreigners considering she didn't really have the list of names and faces, so her uneasiness filled when she saw more come into the banquet. It was her dream to travel to not only see the sights but meet the people of the different places so she wouldn't feel too uptight whenever occasions like this occurred. Perhaps she's just working on auto-drive from the mission she just finished a few days ago. Normally, she'd take two weeks off, but it had only been three days since she came back.

Seeing him waving on at her, Cataleya dropped the plastic cup into the bin as she walked over towards Mauricio Cortez. As she approached them, Cataleya smiled politely. But, hearing the man's friendly demeanor and tone, she wondered if she should drop her own politeness and talk casually. "Sir Mauricio Cortez, was it? The infamous Cortez. It's quite an honor to officially meet you, Sir." She ended up speaking formally towards him before looking over towards the woman with him. "Hello, Miss," she smiled softly before continuing, ""I hope I hadn't intrude in on a conversation?" Cataleya asked looking between the two. Taking in their appearances, Cataleya made a mental reminder to add the events of tonight in her book, including those she met and greeted. Hearing Mauricio asked if she was enjoying herself and commented she looked pale, Cataleya shook her head, "You're quite observant, Sir Mauricio. Have we met before? If we have, please forgive me for not remembering, it seems I was unable to mask my tiredness. I've just gotten back from a five month's mission so I had yet to recuperate and rested properly." She admitted to him, quite honest as she didn't find any reason to hide her fatigue or reasons. Nevertheless, Cataleya looked back to the unknown woman, realizing she was at least two inches taller than her, even with her heels on. But, despite their height difference, Cataleya extended her hand, "It's officially nice to meet you. Although, a few seem to know my name, I'm Scarlette."

Once Cataleya had greeted Sir Mauricio's companion, it seemed, Cataleya's eyes glanced over towards the Princess and the "Man" she had been observing. But, when Lord Aldaris decided to step in to greet the Princess and merchant, was it? She felt a slight relief enter her frame as she didn't have anything to worry about, seeing that perhaps even the Lord felt something was off about that man that held. . something more than romantic interest in the Princess. The Princess was a fair Lady and her beauty is definitely beyond words, however, Cataleya knew the Princess could hold her own quite well, but one should never be too cautious.

PRINCESS VIVIENNE

Vivienne closed her eyes when he got closer. "What can you show me that my eyes cannot? I can see things even yours can't, things the standard eye couldn't comprehend." Just after she said that, she turned to see Lord Aldaris approach them, speaking loudly and clear to Bo Zhi. Friend..?
She gave a soft smile, bringing her hands down to rest infronf of her. I don't remember sending an S.O.S.. "Princess Vivienne Diana Swan." She said, answering for herself. She wouldn't go as far as to call herself an angel, but Goddess she would accept. It had a nice ring to it. And with that, her grey eyes gazed upon him as though he were the only one standing there. Purposely, to see how Bo Zhi would react.
