It may well have been. Sometimes it's hard to sort what happened in which. It's a pretty powerful scene, regardless. Seeing children in such circumstances is painful to say the least, real or imaginary.

One scene I know for certain was in Brotherhood which emotionally compelled me was:

It's just an excellent piece of work no matter how you slice it, and no matter which version you watch. FMA is awesome, bottom line.

It's been a while since I've seen someone have the same idea as me that FMA is an amazing series no matter which version, thanks . My most emotional scene in FMA is definetly

Other series are:
Angel Beats - The last episode .

Madoka Magica -

Code Geass -

Attack on Titan -

And considering i'm marathoning Hunter x Hunter's Chimera Ant arc and already have the feels, I bet it's ending will too.

The truth is the truth, no matter how unpopular it may be.

YES. I never forgave him for that, though his penalty was already so horrible and he so thoroughly understood what he'd done that fulfilling fans' anger would've not only taken the series off message, but it would also have our main protagonist destroying a man who had already been destroyed. He might as well be smashing up rubble into powder at that point.

Other series are:
Angel Beats - The last episode .

I made it as far as the reveal of our main protagonist's back story. I still don't know Angel's deal, though.

Madoka Magica -

It would seem we agree again!

Code Geass -

I'm afraid I haven't seen any of the others yet, and that includes AoT.

I don't cry I shed manly tears.
Clannad/Clannad Afterstory made me shed manly tears several times
Angel Beats made me shed manly tears once
Kanon(2006) made me shed manly tears twice I believe
Anohana made me shed manly tears once, but Anohana made me shed them the longest. It's also something that normally wouldn't cause me to shed tears, but that ending.
For all of these when ever I hear the themes the manly tears start escaping. I can't help it the memories come back.
