Many anime have given me motivation and inspired me but if I had to pick one it would be Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. I was going and kind of still am going through a rough time in my life but when I watched Gurren Lagann it motivated me so much to overcome my problems, to never give up even when things look hopeless. I teared up so many times watching it, looking at Simon's perseverance, how much he grew stronger and all his accomplishments despite his humble beginnings. Simon and Kamina are up there in my favorite anime characters of all time!

Hunter x Hunter (2011)

Cured my unstable state of depression, gave me and epiphany and through the epiphany I'm now back in college with a 4.0 gpa pursuing a very unconventional goal. A true godsend for me <3

lol inspired and motivated?

In the world of anime , some sports and art/music genre anime has motivated me a lot .

Free Iwatobi Swim Club has gotten me to get back into swimming at a nearby YMCA to strenthen my back. Everytime I do my backstrokes, I think of MAkoto

Yowamushi Pedal has helped me try road cycling training for heart conditioning.

Ping Pong has awaken my childhood memory with table tennis and will be joining a sports club to relearn and train .I already have got new paddles

Haikyuu reminds me to warm up before an activity because it always show them doing warm up and stretches.

Nodame Cantabille has inspired me to get my nephew violin as he was growing up and now they are both proficient in piano and violin .
... Hikaru no Go got me learning how to play Go ,many years ago join a club but ...I cant think beyond 3 moves so I got frustrated and havent played a while

and now Barakamon has awaken my desire to learn to draw and wrtie with sumi ink and go for a vacation in Hawaii soon

Free!: There's a character I admire- A role model, if that is the right word, that I wish to be(?). That I could get one day break from many things and have the same determination as him.

Yowamushi Pedal: A series that taught me not to give up. Back when I was watching it, I was like Onoda from the beginning and maybe still am. It has gotten me to be a little confident when I try to get use to talking to people.

Hunter x Hunter : The series is teaching has inspired me to look more closely on what is important to me. It's an anime that helped me try to move on with the "dark times" in my life now.

Hetalia: The anime that still has me learning about new cultures and brought back my love for history, writing too. That I can one day keep on writing and publish that book. Plus, keep dreaming.

I suppose all of it is very emotional.

Hm, oddly enough I kind of answered this accidentally in the "Top Female Character" thread. I was speaking specifically about a character, but it sort of applies to the show she's from as well, so i'll leave a link to that here

Also, to a lesser extent, the first season of La Corda d'Oro motivated me to keep practicing the violin and not give up. It made me want to pour my heart into my playing in the hopes of producing something beautiful. To be honest, I haven't really accomplished that goal even to this day - but I still haven't give up.

Actually, now that I think about it, I may be able to argue that Nodame Cantabile partially inspired me to pick up the violin. It wasn't the only factor, but I think I may be safe in calling it an influence.

Bakuman: From watching the anime it feel as if it's telling me to get myself in front of a sketchbook and start drawing.

Fairy Tail. it taught me alot and motivated me on the big part on friendship, right now im dealing with trying to make actual friends instead of all these superficial relationships. or in other words, all my 'friends' are fake to me.
