-Valkyrie Profile 1-2
-Suikoden 3-4
-Xenogears & Xenosaga 1-3
-Magna Carta: Crimson Stigmata

And since we're talking about RPGs: Baldur's Gate series, Icewind Dale series, Planescape: Torment, Neverwinter Nights, and then there's the Temple of Elemental Evil which implements a ton of pen and paper combat mechanics. How could we talk about RPGs without the mention of DnD

yes I loved Dragon's Dogma, even killed the Ur-Dragon..... but I wish the followers would shut up. I know we could get a better view from up there, I was just there..... AND SO WERE YOU!

"They hold the advantage!" .... wait what? No, nope they still don't hold the advantage, you just suck.

As for me I am a bit biased toward more modern RPGs because I like more complete control of my character and decent customization to be fully immersed into the game. With that said with full control difficulty needs to be increased to compensate since skill diminishes the importance of stats. Punishing difficulty makes every stat more all the more important to cover for your mistakes.

For now Demon's Souls would have to be my favorite RPG but in the future I see the MMORPG Gloria Victus topping that. Gloria Victus appears to be using a combat system similar to Mount & Blade and War of the Roses. If they can really nail the customization I can see myself getting addicted to that.

If we're talking JRPG's then it's a fight between Persona 4 Golden, for it's sheer brokenness, Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne, because it's fucking amazing and Hitoshura man, and Shin Megami Tensei II, because Aleph and I really don't need to say more.

Yeah I really love Atlus.

Regular old RPG's? Eh, I don't really know what classifies as an RPG today, but I would say Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team, Earthbound, and Killer 7. I seriously can't place anyone of these above the other.

Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, Legend of Zelda, (gotta love the classics~) and Borderlands.
And though I've never played these games personally, I've watched the Let's Player (pretty sure that's what you call them xD), Markiplier play them and they seemed really cool. Those games would be; Mad Father, Ib, and Crooked Man

Best MMORPG ever is life itself.

Pros:
You don't need to buy DLC or expansions.
No micro transactions (You can buy anything with money which you earned in life itself).
It has many games in itself. (Like Mario)
There are so many parameters which influences the environment.
PLAYER HOUSING
GUILD/WORK HOUSING
When you work hard you will get rewarded.
There are so many things to do

Cons:
Difficult as hell
Time limit
You can't respawn after you died
A big part of the community are ***holes
Most players have to grind for money
Slow progress

Life is a shitty game, but it is the best we have. And if you do it right and try your best. It aint that bad.

yeah I will admit in dragon's dogma I used the skill that fired 18 arrows at a time it did make about %90 easier to kill stuff, well except for the evil eye(you invincible while shield is up bastard) and Ur-Dragon(he just a dick)

Don't mis-undertand I'm not talking about you but rather my followers or are you referring to my love of difficulty?
