none because everyone has the right to like and enjoy whatever anime they want in whichever way they want
some people are more obsessive and can be found irritating but thats as far as it goes
if you wanna hate or even dislike someone as a person because of their anime preferences
then man
you're a shit person

*claps* Well done.

in defense of dub haters, remember the bad days of dubbing when they used to let anyone do it, but anything dubbed post cowboy bebop should be fine.

there is only one fan (in both regards) that annoyed me, that was this guy who thought if it was anime, then it was gold. mindless adoration of anything japanese. if it wasn't for dickheads like this they wouldn't have made four transformers movies inferior to transformers the movie.

there is another, people who complain about the misogyny in anime. can it be a problem? yes, it's why i didn't get past the first two episodes of NGNL. but we know it's there. it's not going anywhere. there's plenty of anime that doesn't cater to that market.

People who bitch about dubs for no reason. I can understand when its clearly a bad dub, like the dub for higurashi, but i dislike when they take a shit on all of the voice actors efforts without actually watching the dub. I have seen people say the dub for Black Lagoon, Bacanno! and Space dandy all suck, and they didn't even watch the dub yet.

I dislike the large majority of SAO fans. I enjoy the show quite a bit, but the overly obsessed fans who like to tear apart everyone's comments and go off like a hand grenade every-time someone tries to critique a poorly done scene.

I also dislike the fans that throw out "she so kawaii" "wow that scene was so sugoi" and other half english, half japanese sentences.

(Edit)

in closing, i dislike fans that regard their opinion as god, and the only truth in the universe, and anyone who has a differing opinion is of a lesser intelligence.

If anything it's what this kid's up to. So much hate, I don't even...

As for dubs, I dislike them, but I'm not worried if that's the way you want to digest your anime. I can read fine and would like to watch the show as much in it's original form as possible. If people have a problem with that, hate away.

The elitist anime viewer who's opinion reigns supreme over yours and everyone else's. Don't even try and have a conversation with them regarding anything related to Asian culture because it usually ends with them telling you why you should feel bad about yourself for even being alive.

Sorry, this hit home with me, as I just had an experience like this with a specific someone.

Hate is a strong word. But the anime fans that annoy me are the fans that think "non otaku" can't watch anime because they won't appreciate it. Or the fans that given up on the world and want to live in an anime. It's fiction for a reason....

Only the ones who like to start arguments on the internet. And by that I mean pretty much 95% of the fandom.

Friendly tip: If you disagree with somebody, don't reply with a malicious comment. Just ignore the post/comment/whatever altogether. If people would follow that one rule then the online anime fandom would be a much more relaxed place.

Well, that, and people who post in the tone that their opinion is objective. Example: "[Insert anime here] is a masterpiece". Posting something like that is just asking for an argument. Instead, you should say: "I thought [insert anime here] was a masterpiece." A simple "I thought" shows that it is your opinion, and you're not asking someone who thought otherwise to debate with you.

It's too bad because most people are too smug on the internet to change their posting attitude, or they're just too immature and don't mind getting into arguments whenever the opportunity presents itself.

So you don't enjoy having a nice compelling argument every once in a while? I think they can be fun and insightful

The types of fans that annoy me are the ones that put down other anime fans for enjoying an anime that they deem inferior.

Hate is much too strong a word. Life is short enough and painful enough to not waste on hate. But one type of fan who I wish wouldn't do what they do is those who have to use the Japanese title of the show despite it being listed here with an English title. For example: The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior is how I know the show. But if somebody was to say Bokura wa Minna Kawai-Sō except for the Kawai part I'd never know what show they were talking about. Or how about this one? Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōse? That's my current favorite show on now. But if you talk about Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōse than I'd never know you was talking about The Irregular at Magic High School. So please, please I am asking/begging of you. Use the English title if it has one instead of the Japanese title. For what it is worth; I never understood those who take a profound dislike to something and tries to drag it down. I am, having admitted this a lot, not a fan of Attack on Titan. It lost me when the Mom got eaten. But I don't knock those who like/love the show. Great. If everybody liked the same thing Baskin Robbins would only need to sell 1 flavor of ice cream and there would have been no need for the Kama Sutra to be published.

I know its weird coming from ME since I use the Japanese name convention such as
Saegusa Mayumi instead of Mayumi Saegusa in the European/American style.

(Besides any excuse to show Saegusachan again is a good one.)

Well said. Anime is an escape from the real world for a little while. Besides if we were to live in the anime world of our choice than it would become as boring and mundane as this one is.
