So i've been away from CR for about 4-5yrs when CR took the legit road.
I continued with CR for a while until i was cut off from Anime due to licensing.

Since then i've turned to the dark side.
Now with the latest buzz about piracy law i found myself taking on the challenge to go legit again and returned back to CR after so many years.

Activated my free trial membership only to find 40ish titles published to my account from those 40ish anime series i've watched 80% already.
When CR turned legit i already voiced my opinion of the lack of CR crew to enter EU anime licensing and 4yr laters i see that still nothing has been done. I would even dare to say it got worse. I mean 40 anime series???

Now i believe that Anime in the EU should be considered. Like the USA we don't really have something called as an Anime channel besides DBZ & Gundam being repeated in infinite loop we hardly see anything.

Stores that have Anime/Manga are non-existing here and in neighboring countries.
This means that we have no legit way of getting access to Anime.

How come this is so hard? Considering there is no general station claiming rights to Air anime in EU.
And why is CR not getting involved? Enough income from US that EU can be ignored?

For now CR is still no place for a EU member and i will disappear again for another 4yrs to see what happens then.
But before i go i would love to get some official info on why EU is so hard or forgotten?

Unfortunately, series aren't licensed to the entirety of the EU, in most cases, so availability can vary depending on which country you're accessing CR from.

Since your profile doesn't say what country you're from, you may want to check out some of the other legal streaming sites, such as Daisuki or Wakanim.tv/co.uk.

I'm in the UK, and I can access quite a few anime/manga titles, though not all the ones I want. I believe Kill La Kill is 'meant' to be on CR, but I can't access it in the UK - I believe this is also true for the new Sailor Moon? One problem is that if something isn't licensed for your region then you can't see the page for it, which results in all sorts of weird things like searching for Kill La Kill bringing up absolutely nothing (not even an information page).

I think the OP's request could easily be handled by allowing those in unlicensed zones to be shown the same page as everyone else with a banner stating the show isn't available in their location.

I've just checked out Wakanim (thanks for that link, as someone sticking their nose in), and it's got Kill La Kill (yay), and I'll check out Daisuki, but we also have Animax here and there's not all that much on non-CR sites as far as I can tell.

Edit: Checking Wakanim, Kill La Kill is paywalled (no!), and they said it originates from "Japon". Um. Excellent!

I'm a bit curious about that myself, (because of a project I'm working on). I can see the pages for a few shows not available in the US (if you know the direct URL), like this one, which displays for me, but gives me the "not available in your region" message..

So you can't see KLK by searching, but can you click directly to this page, or does it give you a 404?

/kill-la-kill

And, (wondering if it makes a difference), are you using the crunchyroll.com site, or the .co.uk one?

I'm using Crunchyroll.com, but I have the language set to English (UK), and all currency shows as GBP. I'll try .co.uk to see what happens.

The Kill La Kill page does work directly, but searching for it doesn't give me a listing.

Thanks for the other sites.
Unfortunatly CR offers me more then those.
Serious Wakanim only shows 8 for my country and Daisuki 5

Oh btw i'm from Belgium :)
I've also considered shipping anime over but stopped due to storage space in my basement running dry and ruined financially after 1 month :)

Right now im testing a litle with some VPNs and using neighbouring countries as starting points.
Let's see what happens

Just a heads up, but the /ToS explicitly forbids the use of VPNs, or other forms of altering your geolocation information, under the section "Obligations for Crunchyroll Users."
