Reading this made me laugh! Just recently watched that movie, it's hilarious!! Hopefully not though, we're much smarter.. I hope...

Glad I could make you laugh I remember watching it a couple years ago and thought it was just plain silly.

That's an interesting take on the future.. o.O

IKR. We clone the hottest women and make them eager to have any man no matter how disfigured he may be.

People will still be idiots and going to war.
Sometimes I imagine that there will be a new age of imperialism that will make everybody hate each other.

I'd have to say that global warming has started to take effect because many governments aren't regulating CO2. With rising oceans many coastline cities start to flood such as Tokyo, Shanghai, New York, etc. With a mass to solve the problem many things become more regulated or more pressing concerns are geared toward technology to deal with the problem, then hopefully research is progressed to the point where it influences the majority of the worlds lives in a positive aspect., with developing countries on the rise and a growing middle class. The world is hopefully a better place to live in general.

But that's my more optimistic point of view.

Realistically, one of the more probable outcomes is that a small war breaks, which eventually escalates to world war. Creating massive amounts of deaths and hindrances where many countries have many losses. Afterwards society needs to be reformed, and who knows what after that.

Course other things could happen in the future. A new epidemic could be introduced, invasion of some kind, Natural Phenomena (good and bad), advancement in technology, world alliance or peace, and breakdown of society.

But no one truly knows where the future is headed.

I can somewhat agree, but I'm also a optimist so I'm sure things can still change for the better.

I imagine it'll be a lot like today, except with better phones.

People in the 50's used to have great hopes for the future. Great technology and near utopia.
But I think now most people see a dystopian future ahead. I'm honestly afraid of such advanced technology that's being offered. Especially those implanted chips to replace cash, car keys, house locks, etc. Mind-reading technology? The only thing anyone completely owns is their mind, those few cubic centimeters in your head. If that's gone, what then?
Not only that, but I imagine a group of elitists ruling over the less fortunate in wealth and making the world governments one.
Then that's when things will be like George Orwell's 1984. No privacy, thought police, executing anyone who questions the state, etc etc.

People in the 1950's lived in fear of the Reds coming to nuke us. Worrying about dystopia isn't anything new.
